Starting point- A bit after Naruto gets back from 2 years of training with Jirya, but before the Gaara captured by Akutski incident
The rules for play refer to:
Chakra, Chakra type (Lightning, Earth, Water, Fire, Wind)
Doujutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu
Rinnegan, Sharingan, Byakugan
If you don't understand some of these terms, get up to date on the anime at Hulu or whatever.
1: When creating a Ninja/Jutsu, DO NOT BE A GOD. It's fine if your character is strong, but if they have no weak spots, then it's out. When you start out, unless you join in a good while after the RP starts, whether you're a villan, hero, mercinary, or bystander, you have to be weak enough to possibly defeat.
I WILL DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE WEAK "ENOUGH". Please do not complain if I ask you to nerf your character; if I do, I will give you reasons, and that should be enough. I may also ask you to nerf it in a specific way.
2: Take the hits and don't control anyone but yourself. Short, simple, easy to remember. You are also not allowed to say "then Ino hit Choji in the head with a shuriken, killing him instantly." or somesuch irreversable thing. you could say "Ino threw a shuriken at Choji." because then the person playing Choji could say "Choji dodged and used human boulder no Jutsu, and threw himself at Ino." or, if he so chose, he could say "Choji ducked, and took the Shuriken to the head, killing himself." this is acceptable because then you are not controlling any character other than your own.
3: for the love of god, NO SPAMMING, FLAMING, OR OTHER SUCH REDICULOUS BEHAVOR.

I expect you to spell well. I didn't say perfectly, if your finger slips or you just don't know how to spell hippopotumas, then it's fine. Just try to spell to the best of your ability.
5: In the realm of behavor... Anything that goes in the Anime/Manga, goes here. That means nonexessive swearing, some jokes on where the sun generaly doesn't shine, and of course, Sexy No Jutsu is allowed... provided no pictures of said Jutsu are included.
