*This roleplay will be going under some minor re-construction, but will still be accepting profiles! Welcome! White Houses is a roleplay based in Seattle, Washington out in the suburbs on the oceanside, where five white bungalows available for rent are situated on the same culdesac. It is full of romance, drama, reality, and healing, playing out the lives of young adults attempting to find their place in the world, breaking and mending their hearts along the way, and find themselves in the process. While balancing jobs, college, and their own personal lives, eighteen unique individuals dive into new lives after leaving the nest, and begin to shape and form memories of their own, whether positive or negative, and leave their mark on each other as they embark on their own adventure.

(biography) Eloise Taylor Holmes was born after her older brother, Edan Jasper Holmes, to a young couple. One could say that their upbringing was very average, with another younger sister to follow into the family after them. Elle was an odd child, and was never really an honor student, but she had common sense. Her entire life, she was shadowed by her older brother, who was the popular, brilliant one, while she was the one who was always forgotten. One of her biggest accomplishments was writing a speech for her graduation this past summer, but it went terribly wrong when she tripped and fell on the stage, and broke her nose, which is currently still healing. Though it was a little scarring, this put Elle into a bit of a slump, and it didn't help with the fact that right after this, she was rejected by the man she thought she loved for her entire high school career, who was also her best friend. They parted during the summer, and she has denied the fact that she is still heartbroken, and will not admit it.
(personality) Elle is brutally honest, quirky, odd, a little bit... "off", and really awkward. She is not very good with holding a conversation with one person too long, as her attention span is really short... like a goldfish. She tends to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Some people call her really clumsy and a bit insensitive, but she blows it off and says, "That's just their opinion." She gets over things pretty quickly, and usually things don't bother her. She goes with the flow. But there are certain things that can really damage her that she'd really not like to talk about, as she is a tad bit sensitive inside. Also, she gives really expressive facial expressions, and uses her hands a lot when she talks or describes things. She can get talkative, and very friendly, but then starts to babble and talk about nonsense. Elle takes great pride in being quick-witted and casual with her few conversations, but sometimes her sarcastic remarks are tactless and cruel, as she isn't exactly in tune with what's socially acceptable. However, she can be very helpful, and explain things in a broad explanation, perhaps a little too... descriptive...
(likes) FOOD, WRITING, 80's MUSIC, novels of any kind, small things... like traveling shampoo bottles and doll furniture, sculpting art with pieces of junk and making collages with different materials, swap marts and craft shows, working with her hands, working with children and teens, coffee, boots.

She does not wear anything too revealing, but always shows a bit of skin.

(biography) Jackie is an only child that was raised in Portland, Oregan. Her parents are wealthy contractors for the lumber business, and have been for the past 30 years. She was spoiled rotten. Jackie's mother and father were not the best parents in the world, as they were constantly off on meetings and conferences, leaving Jackie to herself with their many nannies. She often acted out to grasp her parents' attention, and felt very neglected, and grew to be stubborn, difficult, and self-destructive, even as a young child, and this carried her on to her teens. She began smoking at the age of fourteen and drank alcohol at fifteen. She found solace in dancing when she took classes in high school, and this assisted to keeping her busy, and she worked herself until she was the best of the class. Jackie received scholarships for her hard work, and this added to the money her parents' saved for her to be well-off when she attended college.
Jackie's relationships were rare, whether friendships or romantic relationships. She scarcely enjoyed the company of either, but found herself in destructive, intense relationships that always ended on horrible terms.
(personality) Hard-driven, determined, and a little bit destructive, Jackie is an intense woman who says little, but her eyes are worth a million words as to how she feels. She does not wear her heart on her sleeve, and is always silent unless she feels the need to speak, which usually tends to be cruel words that breaks a person down to tears. Rarely is she nice, but that doesn't mean she is completely cold-hearted. Jackie is just a difficult individual, who has a hard time with being free-willed. She often goes to parties, and this is one of two ways she lets herself go with all of her feelings. The other way is dancing. She will work herself till her feet bleed on some nights, and at times will pass out from working herself so hard.

Alisson is short, and has some meat on her bones , but it still considered fit and toned. She is pale, with a young face, dark eyebrows, plush lips and a decent smile (She hated braces). Her most complimented feature are her eyes for their unique color, and long lashes. She could care less what she wears on most days, but when she decides to dress up and look good she likes clothes that are a bit more mature for her age. Knowing that she'll simply dress up in button up shirts, with dress pants or skirt along with heels. She's very against wearing anything that shows too much (Low cut clothing, see through, thongs ect.)

(biography)She was born in Mississippi and her parents quickly moved when she turned one. During that time she had an older sister and lived out her life as normal as she could. She didnt' see her mother often because of medical school, so her father took care of her when he was able to come home. Around her neighborhood she made a total of five friends that picked on her mercilessly, and was an outcast in her middle school. When she came home she would face her sister who would easily be angered and chase her down with a knife (Hasn't succeeded since Allison is still alive) or get into trouble with her older sister by doing a bit of her bidding. It all died down soon eventually, and Allison shut herself from the world since she came to her senses about her friends, or atleast stood up a little more for herself and they backed down and treated her slightly better. Allison was still timid. She knew the reasons why they picked on her though.
Around age eleven her parents divorced and she decided to go with her Mother because of her sister, and blames herself a little bit on the divorce for a small reason. Before she entered highschool, during summer vacation she met a boy that broke her heart in a very original way, along with a very small form of physical abuse that pushed Allison over the edge to fight back. She gained her aggressive side. Later on she disovered her fahter moving out of state, but Allison remained with her mother. Allison had two good teenaging fuffilling years of highschool before switching to another one and lived them out her way, discovering what this population really is among a world of idiots. She soon moved with her father to go to college for a year, and met a boy online. She dated him for a year, before taking a break one semester to move in with this boy. Many things happened, but they broke up and Allison decided for herself that she needed to move and be by herself for a bit. On her own for this next year, and it took a bit for her dad to agree (And not kill her ex) , and so she moved to a cheap place in Washington to finish the last bit of her core classes. She works to be a vetinarian.
(personality) She's constantly worried about being____,doing what's right, resisting temptation, and at the same time she's never sure what she believes in (100% that is). She desperatly wants to lash out and find her own way, but she realizes she can't do it without hurting others. She sacrifices her own freedoms for the one's she cares for. She's finds true friends rarer than gold, and she is incredibly forgiving. After a liftime of moron's she's learned not to get worked up over things that aren't worth it, and after she got a bit of her intelligent bigtory out of the way she found "normal" people to have their own charm, and not beyond profound wisdom. She is feircly independent, yet at the same time a family girl.
She doesn't want to rely on the moods of emotions of others, because she's found people to be unreliable. Even thouigh the lonliness of people interpret her as being cold or anti-social gets to her sometimes, she takes the silent pride in knowing that it's her choice and she chooses to sufer for the sake of something noble. Many can't understand how she percieves others with negative and positive inputs at the same time either.
She chooses to be nice because it's right, not for friends, but she can be sarcastic and mean in a way to keep people (She's called most of them sheep) undesirable of her compainionship. Yet sometimes it doesn't work and they only come to her in hopes of her approval(Pathetic sheep for you).

The length of her hair actually changes daily with the way she styles it, though naturally her hair is wavy and frames her heart shaped face. When it comes to her bangs, Georgina styles and cuts them herself, since the way she wants them changes often. Her light, icy blue eyes shine with cheerfulness and adoration, yet behind them there hides depression and painful memories. She dresses rather simple, yet girly at the same time. (biography) Georgina was born ten years after her elder brother and sister, being the child to her mother's second husband. The relationship between her mother and biological father only lasted until she was two, then her mother discarded him, finding an extremely wealthy man; she preferred wealthy man even though she had enough money from her father's medical business. During the first ten years of her life she was a bratty rich girl who was self-centered and always got her way. Her mother and step-father showered her with everything she wanted, and in ballet classes and school plays she always won the lead role. Even with all the things she wanted and holding so much skills, she always felt like something was missing. Siblings had already moved out at that point, so it made sense they never showed up to special events of hers, but she lived with her mother and step-father and yet, they never showed up to anything. The only one who ever made an effort of seeing her dance and act was her biological father. In the middle of fifth grade Jack, her biological father, took her on a trip to Guatemala. Only then did she realize how cruel and unfair the world was. Children her age begging for money to buy food. Most were starving, others parents were ill and dying, and a majority of the children were orphans. Seeing this, even at a young age, impacted her. Once she got home she was different, no longer the snobby brat who wanted everything. Instead she was a selfless girl who gave away the fancy toys and items she had to the ones who truly deserved them. Her mother was outraged that Jack had changed her, made her more demanding to spend time with family than getting items and money, so outraged that she was able to remove all rights he had to see Georgian ever again. For weeks she cried in her weeks, she had finally realized how important family was and she already lost the one family member that seemed to care enough to take time for her. Hatred grew from her towards her mother and step-father, and soon she started wishing that'd she turned eighteen already so she could escape the depths of the house that caused her so much self-loathing and low-self esteem. Until she was eighteen, every cent of money or gift she was given she put it to good use by using it to donate to those who needed things, and this ranged from animal shelters to countries which were suffering. Her mother constantly put her down for doing such idiotic things, and this caused her pain, and she began hating how she disappointed her mother, however her spirits raised when she remembered how she was making her father proud.
When it came time for her to go to college she was offered many scholarships, and this thrilled her because it meant she wouldn't need to use her mother's money, but that didn't stop her mother from giving her bucket full of money, and it wasn't just her mother, her brother offered twice the amount her mother did. The amount she was given made it clear her family wanted her gone, quick, and she was happy to do so. At first she had thought of just donating the money her mother and brother had given her a settling for a rather cheap place, but she was surprised by her mother who had already bought her a place with a reasonable price, for her at least.
(personality) Bright, sunny disposition and an almost incurable sense of optimism regarding the future of those who presents are tough and bloody. She is good natured with an irrepressible sense of fun; not the type to just sit around and do nothing. With her goals and classes she is determined to make the best of them, and never slacks off. In her free time is when her energy and humor comes out. In unfavorable situations, she is impatient and prefers to be far from things that may cause any type of problems. She enjoys traveling and exploration and is full of enterprise, energy, versatility, adventurousness and eagerness to extend the experience as much as possible. Honorable, honest, trustworthy, truthful, generous and sincere with a passion of justice, she often tells people more than they may want to know, or are ready to hear.
Underneath all of the things she shows is a discouraging, gloomy little girl who still longs for her mother approval and affection that was rarely shown. Though she never lets this take her over, for she must be an independent and take care of herself.

Males that are self-centered rich jerks piss her off, and she becomes more livid if the male believes that women should be in the kitchen and do all the cleaning. A partner who is a best-friend and shows respect for her, so the respect would be mutual. Someone who won't try to crush her dreams her hold her back. Intelligence would be nice also, not a complete genius but not a complete dim-wit either.

Edan is a slightly tall and lanky man, but he works out at least three times a week to stay healthy, and keeps himself toned and well enough to have a well-built, masculine body. He possesses a long face, with lightly tanned skin, which he’s rather grateful for, since in his family, nearly everyone is fair skinned, and that just wouldn’t do for a man like him. Usually he doesn’t maintain or comb his dark hair when he wakes up, so it naturally sticks in funny places, or is just all over the place, and yet it looks perfectly tousled. As for clothing, he normally dresses in really nice, expensive jeans and button-up shirts, and has an unusual eye for male fashion and tends to look good, no matter what he wears. Frequently, he’s borderline of ‘I don’t care what I look like’ and ‘holy s**t, I gotta look good.’

(biography) Edan Jasper Holmes was first born to a young couple, and followed afterwards was his younger sister Eloise Taylor Holmes, and then another little sister four years after her. They all were an average family, and he was raised by loving, but strict parents, and went to a decent high school on the suburbs of Seattle. Edan was an athlete in school, and very popular. His reputation was untainted, and everyone pretty much adored him, except for the many broken hearts and people he offended greatly. It was either you loved him or you hated him, and this applies through-out most of his life. Edan graduated, and ended up renting out the little bungalow with three other people, and goes to a mechanic school to learn about auto mechanics. He is a car salesman, much to his disliking, but it brings him a decent paycheck. He also does odd jobs, such as fixing a person's car, if paid right.
(personality) Edan is borderline good guy and the classic idiot. Though at times he can act like a complete jerk, probably joke around a lot and not care about whoever is around him but the other people who are with him, but he does have a strong belief in justice, and can't stand seeing someone who is innocent or weak be tortured. He stands up for what he believes is right, but at times he may stand up for the wrong things at the wrong time, or not even at all. Edan loves his younger sister, Elle, but at times he finds her a bit too strange for his liking, despite he loves that she's very unique. He just doesn't publicly display his affections for his sister, but when they are alone, he is a very loving, protective brother, and once in a while, one can see that he is a truly caring person with a deep, sensitive heart. Edan also falls in love very easily, but he falls out of love just as quick. When he has a thing for a woman, he tends to direct all of his attention on her, buy her gifts, and pretty much woo her to death. He loves the unconventional, but keeps it classy. I know I may seem a little harsh with this, but I want quality. If you are having trouble with the code (it is a bit difficult to fill out), take a look at the profiles already posted in the above post as a reference.
♰xxxYou may not exclude information, all is required, but you can add to it using the same format. Anything that says optional is an exception. If you really want to be creative, change the coloured words to how your character speaks (it might be more interesting)
♰xxxColours are your roleplay character's representation. The colour you choose should match your character, and no one else is to use it. Colours for each individual must be unique in shade and hue. Generic colours that Gaia provides will be shunned. If you are having trouble or do not understand how to get a unique shade of colour, please ask me and I will help you, for the sake of my well-being.
♰xxxAdd as much information as you think is needed. Bios, personalities, and appearances should have at least three descriptive sentences. Don't be shy to get really detailed! This is supposed to be like a real life person!
