It's not too soon to start thinking about next year's NAMG Cup. Things like...changes.
First off, do we need any? If so what?

At this point I think the best change to make is no changes at all. This year was competitive, and consistency makes things less confusing. If nobody is opposed, I'll start the thread for next year within' the next few weeks.

That's fine by me. Hopefully I won't have to do the points for half the year.
The only change I was thinking about had to do with autopicks. Basically, making them unlimited. There would be a 5 point bonus per race for the chase. However, if you took an autopick for that week, no bonus. If you picked for every race, you'd get a 130 point bonus for the chase, but if you took two autopicks, it would only be a 120 point bonus. The downside is it's one more thing to keep track of.

I vote For 2 or three. a year (monday-tuesday early picks) say soul you chose not to pick unlcky dogpick. and i was second in line i would pay like 1/4 the points i earn the following week. so i wouldnt get the full point winnings. but, need something to so someone can use it. plus never know when comp dies and get online to pick

I enjoyed this years competition... I would like to say 2 things though. You guys need to elect another crew member to help with updating the points...its a lot of stress on you guys and I think another helping hand would do wonders for you guys. Also I think a cool little top 10 in points prediction raffle or prize in the namg would be cool. Basically I would go like this, no points or anything that affects the actual namg points for us. However at the start of the chase. Each person picks their top 12 or 15 (however its going to be like for next year's chase). With a stipulation that no one's picks can be the exact same, once posted. At the end of the chase the person the closest wins some sort of prize or a small amount of gold. It would be just like the bud shootout or all star race... just another thing for us to fight over basically lol. What do you think?

I'm good with no changes... BUT.. I do like Cross' idea...
I know I'm on a site where we did chase predictions this year.. of how the chase standings would look going into the FIRST chase race. And that was pretty cool.. it attracted some attention that was much needed smile

I agree with getting another crew member or two. I suck at predictions, but I won't be opposed to the idea of predicting the chase.

Yeah we do need more help to get through all the stats getting setup, I failed miserably at doing that this past season and Im sorry everyone redface I can go through and make all the fancy banners at school. I also have a few more ideas so when the threads all get together we can all set it up.
Once Im done with school in dec. I'll have a more time, more frequently to tend to the NAMG.
