Secret Santa GCDPG style!
Update: Sign up is closed and I'm doing the drawing as we speak. Will PM you all within the next two hours.
List of Rule-like things:
Post that you want to be involved here before midnight on 15th of December PST to be involved.
The price limit for gifts is 50k. You can give any price in this range, or you could gift art with a token gift, you can also give multiple gifts, so long as combined their price doesn't exceed 50k, and they are given to the same person. (the person you are given by me via PM, see rules below)
If you want to give gifts to others feel free to do so, but for the sake of Secret Santa, gift the person you're given and let them know in the message that it's for GCDPG Secret Santa ^_^ And don't give secret santa gifts for this guild to other people and say it's for this guild.
The reason there is a limit and that you're only given one person is so everyone gets and gives a gift! Everyone gets remembered at christmas!
I'll post a list of everyone involved in the next post. Later on I'll add funny messages/art if it's posted/what people got gifted and any other fun stuff under people's names.
I will be the organiser. I'll put everyone's names in a hat and draw them out for everyone who's in, I'll do this on the 16th my time. (I'm Australian) making sure you don't get your own name... and that everyone's got someone different.
I won't include myself for obvious reasons! ^_^
I'll then PM you with the name of the person you are to give a gift to and you then are to buy them a gift that fits into the Secret Santa rules (no exceeding the price, etc) by midnight on the 24th of December PST.
Also, make sure you put in the message somewhere, that you are gifting for GCDPG Secret Santa... people can get lots of anon gifts at christmas, let them know it's for this one so they know they've been remembered ^_^
Make sure to anon gift it, and if you are going to be involved, turn your gifts onto anonymous for a day or two and let us know if you have done so.
If you really can't do this, or want to not be anon gifted but still join in, then your gifter should use a secret mule to gift to you so that they remain anonymous. ^_^ At the very least... make sure you can be gifted!
Remember, if you decide to just join in for free stuff without getting into the gifting spirit and you don't gift who you are given, I'll be able to tell, since I will know who is gifting who. Not that I can do anything... but it's just not nice. *waggles finger*
Also, it's a good idea not to sign up with mules for this... you could end up getting your own mule to gift, since I don't know everyone's mules... sweatdrop
Try and have fun with it... It's not like we can buy uber expensive wishlist items here... make a joke out of it, buy something you think they'd get a kick out of... something that'd compliment their avatar, put thought into your message! Gift art if you can't afford something over a few gold!
Lastly... Post what you got or any funny messages here, we can have fun speculating who got who what!
