I am glad that this Guild was started, and I am happy to be involved. However, there isn't much that is going on. I understand that you tried having an Invite Contest, but if the Guild was more active people might participate more. I didn't even see the announcement, because I check to see if any one is even responding in the Guild before I go into it.
I think the crew members/president or who ever needs to come up with some more ways to get people involved. Have a giveaway, game, drawing contest, writing contest, or a show what you have day. More ideas need to be implemented into the Guild.
With that said, I would be happy to help. ^.^ If anyone wants to they can PM me with a collaboration idea, and I would be ecstatic to make this Guild thrive. There is so much that goes into manga creating, that I doubt as a group we couldn't find some way of making the Guild a bit more alive than now.
Please post ideas, comments, complaints, or whatever about my thought. I want to see this Guild come alive, because I have wanted to find a place on Gaia that I can hang my hat.

Can we do some sort of group manga? Like one person does the first page, uploads, then another person does the next page.
You know, like that game where you fold a piece of paper into three. You draw the head, someone else draws the body, you draw the feet. You don't know what the other person's bit looks like until it's up there. I hop that makes sense.
It would keep people reading it, because really only the manga-ka of the page being put up knows what's going to happen next.

i totally agree with you.
I think it'd be a good idea to make funny fast-paced short comic strips, or, if you would allow me, i could post info on my DA account, and of many other sites to spread the word...

Ok. Since it's all well and good just chatting about this, nothing's ever going to get done. I volunteer to do the first page, although it's not going to be too great since I'll have to scan it in (lost the stylus for my graphics tablet). Shall I make a new topic for it?

The Haruist Ruby Jaguar for this manga idea, don't you think it would be better to do a story line first...just wondering? lol Yeah,of course :3 But the question is what? Should it be a completely original story,or a story somehow related to anime and manga? Well why don't we have everyone make up a character and it could be like a roleplaying manga maybe or everyone makes up a character for the hero/heroine and then one for a villain. Something like that maybe.

instead of fighting ovr who writes and draws the manga why dont we each just draw our own short manga column and post on some forum here. I mean, I honestly dont think we´re ready to just start right away with an entire manga.

Roleplaying is not just for a game, its like how to describe it.....like we all play out our characters like we are the characters....its just a thought though.
