I personally think this should be a sub-forum, where we post our stuff.
But yes, I have read some good stuff. Though I can't remember where. Alot of good Orky stuff...
And then there's this. A wonderful piece of fan-fiction. It includes the Krieg Imperial Guard Unit, and a modernesc planet much like Earth ^^

Y'know, I've written a fanfic for 40k. It's the longest-lasting story I've ever written, and I think you all'd like some of the stuff you'll find. ^^
