It's getting to that time of year where everything is freeing up nicely and I would like to start one or two new ones. I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete enough to just throw out a thread and hope someone joins. So here are my basic ideas:
1. A Disgaea High School RP: I know, creative right? My idea here is that instead of the free-for all that occured when the demon king died, the high school of the Netherworld decided to hold a huge contest amongst all its students to see who would be the next demon king. The only catch is that the competition must be completed in pairs (for convenient plot reasons.) When I did this a first time, we used one male and one female character each, with pairs by gender. In the case of the males, they hated each others guts, but were forced to work together when the school announced a time-limit to finding a partner and neither could find anyone else in time (and got forced together by lottery.) It plays out on its own from there.
2. Generic good boy X bad boy. Originally when I did this one, we started with the bad boy dating the good boy's twin sister, coming over one night to visit her only to find that her brother was the only one home, and consequently starting an unorthedox relationship with him.
3. Vocaloid. Something, especially RitsuXTed do want (yes, I know that's UTAU, whatever. >.>) I really love Vocaloid, and I'm sure we can figure out a good plot for it considering all the different songs, outfits, and videos they've all been in.
4. Persona 3 (I haven't finished 4 yet, shut up. ;>.>) We could either use the characters from the game, or replace them with our own original ones, but I'd like to follow the plot at least as far as the Shadows go (their origins, the boss battles, etc.) I once did this as Minato (main character guy) X Bebe (I played as Bebe. XD) It was awesome and I loved it, but it died soon after starting. I'd like to give it another try.
5. A .hack:// RP. It would be with original characters, although some of the canon ones could make cameos, I suppose. It would basically be the same plot as most of the games, with people getting unwittingly caught up in something huge when they play the game, except in this case they would meet up in real life as well, perhaps by accident, perhaps to strategize face-to-face on how to defeat AIDA.
6. Katawa High School: This one is mainly for people who have played and fallen in love with the game "Katawa Shoujo," although it's certainly open to anyone! The game is essentially about a boy who finds out he has a serious heart defect and must start attending a school for kids with medical problems. This RP would be pretty similar to that, most likely involving one character who's been at the school for some time and another who would just be transferring in. Of course, it could also be that they've both been at the school for a while or that both of them are new and they decide to help each other adjust to such life-changing circumstances by becoming friends.
7. A ghost is inhabiting a local shrine, manipulating the villagers and travellers who visit and stirring up some chaos. It's up to you to either a) run in fear, hide, or be generally uselss or b) do something about it (i.e. exorcism, try to get him to rest in peace, etc.)
8. A relatively powerful demon has managed to force his way into the human world and is causing trouble. It's preferable for your character to be a priest or some other kind of holy man whose job it is to come and defeat him. Or something like that. It's pretty open.
9. See here for an RP based on the song/music video "Dark Woods Circus".
...I'm sure I'll have other things to add later, but that's good for now. All of these plots I already have characters for and I can give you the profiles, if you like. Let me know if you have any ideas, input, or if you want to do one with me.

These two ideas I liked the most: Good Boy X Bad Boy and Humans vs. Elves.
Each sounds like it would be fun. I'm not really sure which one I'm leaning towards more. Most likely the Humans vs. Elves since I have never done a roleplay like that before.

Ah, well if you're interested in the elves vs. humans one, would you like to see my character's profile. He's one of my favourites, so I've got it handy. <3 Also, did you have any ideas for the plot other than the obvious? It's usually good to have some backup ideas for such broad RPs.

Erm..some ideas just come to me as the roleplay goes on. But some ideas could be dealing with royalty, a friend of the human's or elf's goes undercover to find what happened to their friend. I do like bringing in other characters that get involved with one another, like other relationships. I suppose that could tie in with the plot.

Personality: Brash, loud, somewhat annoying, rash, short-tempered
History: Rufus was six when the war broke out between humans and elves, and that year his mother was killed because of racial discrimination within the cities. Although he didn't witness the murder, it was Rufus's first taste of the harsh realities of war. To avenge his mother and as an attempt to find his place in life, Rufus joined the human army when he was 20 and vowed to fight one until the violence was ended. His father always told him not to blame people for the conflict, since people are always bound to disagree, but it only made Rufus angrier that his father wasn't as upset about their loss as he was. During the fighting he gained the trust of his comrades as well as the nickname "Stray Dog" (from the saying "Think of it as being bitten by a stray dog," meaning that something bad happened to you through no fault of your own.)

No I don't mind. Multiple paragraphs and long term roleplays are what I like to do. By highly literate, do you mean no mistakes in writing? Like good grammar and so on, because I do know I make mistakes. I try not to, but I don't always catch them. If that's all right.

A few mistakes are fine, everyone's bound to do that every now and then. I just meant using spell check and having generally good grammar and punctuation, but it doesn't have to be perfect. After all, this is ultimately just for fun. So, would you like to do this one with me? If you send me a character profile, I'll start up a thread for us.

All right, I was just checking. Some people I have come across are really picky about that sort of thing. Yes roleplay is for fun. I would like to do one with you. I actually can't wait to get it started.
Are you looking for the character to be any certain way? Or like a particular character profile?

You're welcome to use my profile as an outline while making yours, if you like. Also, since my character is already made, you don't mind being the elf he finds on the battle field, do you? Other than not being too physically large for him to carry back to base...I can't think of a good reason to pose any restrictions. smile Can't wait to start either.

I think I'll do just that. I have a character all set up, just need to edit him a bit. Not at all. Though I was confused at first since in the discription you say that the half elf finds a human on the battle field then rips the uniform off of a fallen human disguising the elf. He shall be easy to carry, no worries there. I'll have the profile ready soon.
Just to let you know I'm going away for Thanksgiving. Wed to Sat and may or may not have internet. I just wanted to give you a warning to my abscence if it happens.

I would definately enjoy doing a Pokemon RP. I'm newly empowered in it lately *has been writing fanfictions like a nut*....I think that would be pretty fun. Get back to me~. I'd like to keep RPing with you!

Ah~, I remember my good old days of writing fan fics. ;^.^ I stopped after high school, I think...I might just get back into that. I've been itching to write something lately (mostly because I've been hoarding pens uselessly and need to get rid of them without wasting them.) Pokemon never gets old. heart (though I've never actually written a Pokemon fanfic...)
