...Story Far north from the Kanto and Johto Regions lies a small region, the Crystal Region. Well, it was a small region, but over a year or two it grew to be as big at Kanto, if not, bigger. This new region has attracted many people, even Team Rocket. Long thought to be broken up, Team Rocket has made a huge comeback into the Crystal Region. Choose your side and begin your everlasting adventure! Announcements: RP open blaugh Story So FarFor years the small region tucked between Johto and Kanto has been safe and free from harm. Until now. Team Rocket has returned in ablaze, and with their new leader comes a new challenge: Shadow Pokemon. The Leader of Team Rocket is revealed! He's none other than Skyler! Only he was masquarading as him the entire time! He goes by Zen, and he's a mysterious scientist that studied in the Orre Region during Red's destructive march through Kanto years ago. In Orre he found out about Shadow Pokemon and was deeply interested in them. And what better way to bring such interests out when Team Rocket has no leader? Zen has proved to be ruthless. He's locked out the hearts of many Pokemon in order to further his Shadow Pokemon research/conquest, and for others that tried to fight him, he hasn't hesitated to kill them. Cadence was no exception. His Drapion, Honchkrow, and Umbreon all fell beneath Zen and his devastatingly strong new addition: Shadow Arceus. The grief sent Cadence into a coma, and in order to save him, Ismene, Roland, and Lizanna hurried to the infamous broken building known as Castletop Manor. There they met the silhouette Darkrai that not only awoke Cadence, but joined his team! With Darkrai and Lugia at their sides, the group of aspiring Trainers head into the heart of Team Rocket, a strong city patrolled by many Team Rocket grunts: St. Juan.

...Rules We all know them, follow the to's blah blah Nothing super perverted, it's a kids' show! Each character can have one legendary, but you have to catch it later on. You can have as many characters as you can control. Your character can be anything; a pokemon, trainer, gym leader, Team Rocket grunt, etc. You can have up to 6 pokemon that know 4 moves. Feel free to post your character anytime in the story. All pokemon are in the Crystal Region, but please try to explain what they're like for some people who don't know a few pokemon. I'm leaving it up to you guys to decide which pokemon you'll find, but please make it reasonable; nothing like a Milotic in the middle of a forest. Character Skeleton: Name: Age: Position: (trainer, leader, etc) Personality: Pokemon: Bio:

...Crystal Region Valton TownThe starter town in Crystal. A simple, homey town where everyone's friendly. This town also houses the pokelab, home of Professor Rodrick. Valton ForestA medium sized forest that connects Valton Town with Ardon City. Many trainers and wild pokemon can be seen here, even a village can be found. Cradle VillageA village that hides in the middle of the Valton Forest. Some houses are built in the trees while others are on the ground. The village is home to the first gym. Ardon CityThe second biggest city in the region. There's a carnival near the end of the city, and a gym near the center. Some Team Rocket people wander the streets, and there have been occasional reports of stolen pokemon... Inferno DesertA desert north of Ardon City. There's a volcano and a city in the middle of the city, but finding it is the hard part. Intense heat and a sandstorm engulf the desert. Inferno CityThe third biggest city in the region. Located in the middle of Inferno Desert and behind a volcano, reaching the town is very difficult, but worth it. Because the city is behind the volcano, it is shielded by the vigorous sandstorm. This town has many hotsprings and thousands of restaurants. Inferno City is best known for its food and the annual cook off it hosts. No gym is in this city, but a contest hall can be found here. Three RiversA town that's seperated by three rivers that lead to the sea. It has the ultimate beach and a gym. There's a luxury cruise ship that takes anyone to the islands, but the tickets are very pricey. Dalton CityThe biggest city in the region and also the sister city of Valton Town. It has a gym, a park, and a game corner, making this the biggest tourist attraction. Because it is such a big city, Dalton was, and is, taken over by Team Rocket. Somewhere in the city is the Rocket Warehouse, where all of there stolen goods lie. It's rumored that the gym leader refuses to open the gym until Team Rocket leaves the town... Anchor IslandOne of the three islands in the region. This island has no gym, but a daycare here as well as a small spa for people and pokemon. A few Team Rocket members come here occasionally for spa time. Anchor Island is also well known for its comfortable beaches and massive waves. It's a great spot for surfers. Aqua IslandThe second island of the three islands. This island has another name: Empty Island, a name given to the area because so few people live here. Because it is nearly abandoned, many fishermen stay there. Again, there is no gym, but above a waterfall on the island is an ancient temple that was said to be built in honor of a legendary pokemon. Revel RuinsNobody knows exactly why these ruins where built, but many think that it was to honor a pokemon. In the middle of the ruins is a temple. Spark IslandThe final Crystal Region island. A small city under control of Team Rocket is here as well as a gym, but with so many Rockets patrolling the area, no one can get to the gym. Crystal MoutainA mountain that stands proudly in the back of the region. Crystals and diamonds can be found in the mountain as well as strong pokemon. The path in the mountain leads to Moonlitville. MoonlitvilleA dim town that hides in a mountain's shadow, making it look as if the sun never shines here. In the center of the town is the Lost Tower, a graveyard for pokemon. Behind the tower is another graveyard, but for people. In the corner of the town is the gym, but the leader closed the gym and left for a small vacation... Serenade ParkA peaceful getaway for families. A wide open space for trainers to train and for families to have a picnic. There's no gym, and very few houses. Towards the end of the area is the enterance to King Forest. King ForestA giant forest that connects Serenade Park with St. Juan. Many trainers have gotten lost in the massive forest. Legend has it that every full moon a strange mansion appears out of no where in the middle of the forest. It supposedly lures trainers inside then spirits them away to the spirit world. But there is a way to escape. If you can get out of the mansion before sunrise, you'll be free. Castletop ManorA strange, abandoned mansion that appears in King Forest every full moon. Though abandoned, the mansion is in great shape and holds many luxurious wonders. The doors are always open and wait patiently for trainers to enter its humble abode, but stay too long and you'll find yourself taken to the spirit realm with no way of returning! St. JuanA town named after its founder: St. Juan. In the town is a gym and another Rocket Warehouse. It's said that some of the strongest Rocket members are staying here... Everclear ValleyThe smallest city of the region, but the strongest. The final gym is here as well as the entrance to Victory Road. Lots of trainers stay here to train for Victory Road.

...Special Characters Special Characters are RP characters that anyone can play as since these characters will most likely affect your own characters story line. The catch is that these characters aren't going to be a full adventure type of character, they're just used for certain points of your story. Gym leaders will be special characters until someone creates a character for them. (If anyone makes a gym leader then they can change them to be how they want) (Pic to be added) Professor RodrickThe professor of the region who studies the importance of legendary pokemon. If your character is a beginner, he'll give you the choice of a Charmander, Treeko, or a Totodile. (Gym leader pics to be added) MegaraThe Cradle Village gym leader. Because she's lived in a forest her whole life, she favored bug pokemon the most. She's said to be the easiest of all leaders, but don't underestimate her! NikolaiArdon City's gym leader. If you can't find him at the carnival, he's at the gym. He loves to use Electric type pokemon, his pokemon even power the carnival during blackouts! RolandThe Three Rivers gym leader. He uses Ice type pokemon to match his cool personality. He secretly tries to be like Cadence. MajoraThe gym leader of Dalton City. A bit paranoid, Majora locked herself in her gym and said that she won't unlock it until Team Rocket leaves the whole city. If you ever get to fight her, she's a fan of Flying type pokemon. IrisSpark Island's gym leader. She doesn't like to say it, but she's Majora's older sister, which also means she's stronger. She uses Normal type pokemon. LizannaCadence's younger sister, as well as his only sibling. When he left to travel the regions, she took over as the gym leader and dedicated herself to becoming a wonderful leader until her brother came back. Just like Cadence, she uses Dark-Type Pokemon, even some he lent her! JuanNamed after the founder of St. Juan. Just like St. Juan, Juan is the gym leader of the city. He uses Steel type pokemon. Jack & JillTwin leaders of the gym at Everclear Valley. A rather rare type of group, each of the leaders uses a different type of pokemon! Jack uses Ghost type, and Jill uses Psychic type. When you go against them, it'll be a double battle. Team RocketThe notorious group of thugs that steal everyone's pokemon and use them as tools. It was rumored that they broke up in the Kanto Region, but somehow they were brought back in the Crystal Region. Pokemon TrainersPeople who love to train their pokemon by battling others. These people are everywhere and will help you get stronger. Wild PokemonEvery kind of pokemon that's found everywhere. You can catch them or battle them to get tougher.

Name: Ismene Clout Age: 17* Position: Trainer Personality: She may be a bit stand-offish when you first meet her, but she doesn't mean to be. Even though she appears a bit cross, she's a true lover for Pokemon and will do anything to keep hers, and any others safe. Once you get to know her, you'll fall in love with her personality. Pokemon: Gardevoir, Milotic, Ninetales*, Sevyper, Gothitelle*, Dragonite* Bio: A well known girl from Cradle Village, Ismene is a lover to Pokemon of all shapes and sizes. Why, she wasn't even afraid to approach a wild Arbok when an infant. Her bravery and confidence sticks out to most people, which leads them to not underestimate her very often. As a Pokemon lover she's a traveler, too, traveling to regions as far as Hoenn, but wishes to travel farther, and like any other trainer, dreams of becoming the Pokemon Master. Picture: Her skin is darker, about a mocha color, and her eyes are a shiny gold topez.

Cadence Smith Cadence walked around the Cradle Village and maneuvered his way through a few houses he'd never seen before. This place has gotten bigger since last time, he thought and stumbled over a log, but managed to mantain his expressionless face. Then again, the whole region has.

Ismene Clout "Nice seeing you again, mom. I'm off now, and thanks for the gift!" Closing the door behind her, Ismane called to her mother, letting her Vulpix out with her to run around the front yard. Packing the bundle of poison, burn, and paralyze heal which was wrapped up in a cute little multicolored transparent sack into her shoulder bag, she was ready to be off again to venture out into the Crystal Region again. Having been through only the first two towns, not including her own, she ventures ahead..until little Vulpix finds a wild butterfree floating around and decides to chase after it. "Ah, Vulpix, come back!" At first Ismane had been a little worried that he'd get lost, but the way Vulpix chased after it, and the way the Butterfree noticed that her Vulpix was innocent and started to play with him, she just giggled and stopped chasing, and began watching.

Cadence heard some rustling, but didn't pay much attention it. It was probably a wild pokemon or some kid playing around. Next thing he knew, he tripped and fell to the ground! Cadence groaned and grabbed his head and looked up to see what he tripped on. He barely saw a Vulpix chasing a Butterfree before they disappeared behind a few bushes. He blinked slowly. Vulpix? Seeing a Butterfree was to be expected in this forest town, but a fire type? What's more, a Vulpix? Must be a trainer, he thought and started to get up. As he got up, all of his items in his bag fell out. Today is just great, he grumbled in his mind and kneeled down to check his back. There was a large tear on the bottom of it. Funny, he didn't remember seeing that before. He looked at the direction the two pokemon ran off to. It must have torn when he tripped. Great.

The two playing pokemon stumbled playfully into the shallow part of the forest, eventually returning to Ismane's presence. After an extended amount of time she had allowed for the two to play together, Ismane snatched Vulpix up -who still had a bunch more energy in him- and held him like a small child wriggling in her arms. The Butterfree had a saddened expression on it's face, and the trainer smiled. "Maybe some day I'll come back so you two can play again, okay?" Her words sort of sounding like a promise to the wild Pokemon, it screeched with joy and flew away, as the Vulpix mewed his goodbye to it. Once it was out of sight and Ismane put the fire fox down, he immediately noticed Cadence and hopped towards him, barking and growling and pouncing at him from a distance, thinking that he also wanted to play. Ismane saw Cadence and noticed the predicament he was in with his bag. "Hey there stranger, you don't look too happy. 'You okay?" Ismane knelt down, wrapping her arms around her legs and awaited his response.

Absol released himself from Cadence's pokeball and looked at the Vulpix. He let out a low growl, telling the fox to back away from his master. "Absol, relax." Cadence muttered. His pokemon reluctantly obeyed and went to his sighed. Cadence pet his head then looked at the girl. "That yours?" he asked, referring to the Vulpix. "Little guy tore up my bag." he said, his expressionless face waiting for an answer.
