but you guys are the closest thing I have to a vaguely carining!anon rant I have.

My sister is six and she's been sick pretty much her entire life; colds, flu, strep throat, the works. When she was four she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. She's got both eczema and asthma and has for her entire life.

She's starting getting breasts and mature body hair. From what we can tell it's precocious puberty but we don't know what's causing it. That fact is scary enough but this little girl's been sick her entire damn life.

My family's about to face the possibility that something might be life-threateningly wrong with her. She goes to the doc on dec 10 but that's only the start.

The ******** am I supposed to do?

Honestly, you can't help but be afraid. However, I would say to try and be strong (outwardly) around her. She is just as afraid with everyone being worried about her.
Maybe you can be that person for your sister. Sometimes, they just want to look over at someone to give them reassurance that everything will turn out alright.
But if you can't hold it in, you don't have to. You parents need to know that you're just as afraid, that YOU need comfort. If they still overwhelm you with their own worries, go to someone outside the circle. Counselor, friend, teacher, etc. If you need to get away from it, don't feel guilty if you decide to spend an afternoon somewhere else or get online to just fool around for a bit. Just for a breather. Because sadly, even though this s**t is going on, life still is moving forward and you are no use to you or your sister, if you can't think straight.
Just remind your sister that you love her and care about her.
Appreciate the time you get to spend with her now.

Thanks. It's just like waiting for conformation is driving us all insane. It could be something 'simple' like hormone production or something like a tumor.

Really though, thanks.
