'Why does my room always have to be the farthest away?' he thought as he finally approached dark wooden door at the very end of the hall. Knocking with his foot Aoni thought it would be polite to see if he already had a roommate or if he would be rooming alone this year. Either way he didn't think it would be to bad, after all he could pretty much do whatever he wanted, as long as the teachers weren't around.
After waiting for a minute or so and there was no answer Aoni set down the boxes and pulled out a key from his pocket, opening the door he saw that it was a rather large room, well room was an understatement this was almost like a house. It had two bedrooms of average size, a bathroom, a living room and even a kitchen attached to it. Eyes wide with bewilderment, Aoni stood for a moment and thought, 'Dad.' Sure enough as he opened the first box, which happened to be the mini-fridge, a letter sat. There was the unmistakable chicken-scratch that barely passed as handwriting of his father in a message that read:
Son,
First of all I am sorry that this has been done to you. I fought your mother as long as I could, for twelve years I kept you in the house begging and pleading for your mother to let you stay. Even after every hole you made, every piece of furniture you broke, and every bit of damage you caused I am still your father and I still love you. I know it sounds awful, but with the new baby on the way and you growing up I finally agreed that you should go out and be on your own, although I wont be completely out of your hair yet as you can see from this letter. Although it was probably hard you are there now and you will be fine, you just call, or write, or whatever you need to do to get ahold of me when you need me. I will be here always.

Aoni couldn't help but laugh at the letter, his dad had the same sense of humor he did. After chuckling and folding the letter and putting it on the counter he took out the mini-fridge with one arm while unpacking the air-conditioner as well. Getting both out he opened the fridge and sure enough there was the money his father spoke of along with a note, once again from good ol' dad reading. "Told ya!" he simply crumpled that and tossed it over his shoulder as he set the refrigerator up and got it running and the air-conditioner as well.
Taking the money he counted it up and totaled a little over 1000 dollars. 'Nice Dad,' he thought, 'your probably going to be beat for this one.'
After finishing setting up the big stuff he strode into one of the rooms, the cool baby blue walls calming him almost as soon as he walked in. "Yeah, this will do." He said to himself as he unpacked his personal belongings.
Withing half an hour he was all set, he had his bed made and his PC up and running, one thing he was very excited about was that this School had WI-FI. He could now E-mail his dad rather than sending letters which were time consuming and bothersome to write. Aoni felt rather warm, he hadn't turned on the air yet but instead of doing that he simply took his shirt of, letting his light skin cool against the air.
He strode into the living room and laid on the couch, waiting for a roommate to finally knock and end his lonesome time, though he didn't much mind it yet.
