Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2010. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Once you have posted you choices here I will add your name to the list of people participating in the event. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

Taken care of business, one week at a time.

Browns at Jaguars- The Jaguars pulled off thee improbable victory against the Texans, but will that momentum carry them over a Cleveland Browns team playing like a playoff caliber franchise. If Cleveland and Colt McCoy played at the beginning of the season the way they are playing now, I would include them in the playoff conversation. And who knows, they might still slip in.
WINNER- CLEVELAND BROWNS

Buccaneers at 49ers- The 49ers and new QB Troy Smith have won 3 of their last 4 and look to remain in the race for the NFC West title. Unfortunately despite the tremendous play by Troy, the 49ers victories were less than convincing that they are playoff material. Tampa Bay on the other hand is playing like a team with purpose, and is in the thick of the wildcard race, and can still win the division.
WINNER- TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Colts at Patriots- After two horrible losses two weeks ago, both the Colts and Patriots rebounded with a W last week pouncing on AFC North teams. But New England's win over Pittsburgh carries more weight than the Colts win over 2-6 Cincinnati. The Colts have won 4 of their last 5 against the Patriots, but injuries and a depleted roster has started to catch up to Peyton Manning and Co.
WINNER- NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

N.Y. Giants at Eagles- Lucky blow out over a Redskins team that beat them 17-12 earlier this year, or is Vick and company that good? Unlucky off day for the Giants, or are there more problems with this team than we thought? For Vick and the Eagles the sky's the limit. This game just might determine who is #1 in the NFC. And the Eagles currently have all the confidence in the world.
WINNER- PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Broncos at Chargers- The Chargers are much better than their record indicates. Both their offense and defense rank in the top 5 in the league, and Philip Rivers is on track to break Dan Marino's record for most passing yards in a season. The Broncos rebounded big after loosing in London with a huge win over division rival Kansas City. But to me that game came off as a lucky break over a KC team struggling recently.
WINNER- SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

Recap- Browns, Buccaneers, Patriots, Eagles, Chargers
