Aeris sighed heavily from another sleepless night not that it was surprising. She worked the graveyard shift in a mental hospital. There were times she thought the madness was catching, Aeris yawned and heard loud footsteps behind her. Like someone heavy was running, Aeris turned quickly as someone shoved her to the ground stepping on her ribs. Then as if it fell from the moonlight a black notebook hit the attacker giving Aeris enough time to kick him off of her and then unconscious. Aeris picked up the notebook carefully then looked up. But there was nothing to indicate it had been dropped from a building that towered overhead. Aeris looked around carefully and walked home quickly reading the "rules" One had written inside.

Aeris sat at home now staring at the notebook. It was open and she had a pen in hand. She had doodled a little on the front page but hadnt really written anything else in it. Aeris sighed again, sure she had people she generally disliked but she wasnt sure it would work. Aeris got up and walked to the phone book she picked it up then flipped through it until she found a name. Then she walked to her computer and Google'd the name and with that she had a name and a face.

Aeris had written the name down and after half an hour she felt stupid for thinking she would instantly know if it had worked seeing as she had never even heard of the person prior to about an hour ago. Aeris flopped back down on her bed and thought about it. What would be the best way to test something like this so she would know sometime reletively quick if it had worked. Aeris had the little lightbulb above her head about five minutes later. She was a psychiatrist in a mental home write down one of the patients she has tonight and then she would know. Aeris smiled and changed into her PJ's. Simple as that.
