I was wondering the other day about what might happen if the tenth Doctor had an American companion, maybe between Rose and Martha or after Donna. (After Donna would mean she was a one-time character, like Astrid or Lady Christina.)
Anyway, I have the companion character close to worked out and was wondering if anyone else would be interested.

Yeah, RP stands for role play. I'm fairly new to Gaia as well, but I've done a couple Lord of the Rings RPs on another site and would love to try a Doctor Who RP. Basically what you do is write what you want your character to do and post it, but you don't write what someone else's character does. For example, here's what a post as my companion character might look like:
Cara looked over the control panel she'd discovered. "Um... Doctor?" she called. "Are you there? I think I may have found something." As she waited for the Doctor to come, she thought back over the past few hours. I can't believe that yesterday, I was a college student and minimum-wage kitchen worker. Today, I'm 3,000 years in the future with a time-traveling alien! she thought.

Yah, I used to roleplay on a diff website but no one used the term RP. Right now I'm looking for one on gaia. ^^

Well, I'm working on the basic plot for this one if you'd like to join once it starts. I'm doing the companion, Cara, but I need people to play the tenth Doctor, a villian, and maybe a couple others characters.

cool! i'll join! not exactly a villian but I ahve some problems with The Doctor. I coudl PM The Tenth doctor 906 about it if you like. We're roleplay freaks....... that and the Master ^^

Well, if Celeste and the Master want to play as themselves, we could have some fun with that. smile I'll have to re-work the plot a bit, but that's not a big deal. My companion character is an American, a 21-year-old part-time college student who works in a resturaunt. She's stuck in her life and has no idea how to get unstuck. Then strange things start happening, and she starts helping the Doctor because she happens to be nearby when he shows up - pure chance. I'll post her full profile in the character thread in another day or so, along with a rough outline of my plot. smile

10, after Donna had to be memory wiped. Cara won't stay with the Doctor after her adventure with him.

Sure, anyone who wants to can join. smile For some reason I started another thread for characters and plot discussion instead of putting it in here (IDK what I was thinking *facepalm*), so put some kind of character profile up in that thread. I only have a few characters included so far, feel free to add anyone you want to play. biggrin
