"Hey, hey, let me go!!" Lina whined as she was thrown into a cell, "I don't deserve to be in here!! Let me out! I'm hungry!!" Her expression became frustrated when the kingsmen left, and sighed, slumping against the wall. "Lina?" Gourry questioned, peaking over at her, "Yeah, Gourry?" Lina folded her arms over her knees, and listened. "I'm hungry, Lina."
"I'm sure you are, Gourry. I am too. But there's no way we can get out at the moment." She felt so out of energy, like many times before. Not getting food for long periods of time was like physical torture to her. She couldn't take it, it bothered her. After all, she had to consume larger amounts, because of how much magic she used.
It took Gourry a while, but he finally came up with the most obvious question. "How do we get out?" Lina really wished she could smack him for the comment, but he was in the other cell with Zelgadis, while she was with Amelia. "Simple, we wait for the guards to return, and blast them with some magic." She had a proud smile on her lips, until she tried to form a simple fireball at her fingers. It didn't come. Oh hell, please say this place didn't have a magic barrier!! She whined, smacking her head against her knees. "I want food, I want food, I want food!!"

"Why does this always happen?" she mumbled unhappily. "We're supposed to be the heroes, and capture the villains. And yet...." Her eyes began to tear up as she paused; she couldn't bear to speak the words. It was cruel enough that she had to think them. And yet, we're the ones who are being treated like criminals.... A small sigh escaped her, and she turned to watch as Lina complained with no end about being hungry. She could feel anger building up inside her, and scowled slightly. "MIss Lina. Complaining isn't going to fix anything." she told her sternly. Sometimes she wondered how Lina could still be so immature.
Zelgadis leaned back against the wall, seeming to resign himself to his fate. Much to his displeasure, he had gotten rather used to being arrested. It was a common occurrence when one associated with Lina Inverse. Still, that didn't make it any less annoying. He glanced over in the direction of the other cell when he heard Amelia. "Don't start you two. The last thing we need is petty arguing." he said calmly. Lina frowned as Amelia snapped back at her, before sighing and nodding, "I know, but what do you suggest we do, Amelia?" She waited for an answer, until Zelgadis seemed to butt in. She scowled, and stared off at the wall.
"Wait, wait, so we're the villains now?" Gourry asked, confused. He didn't seem to understand the concept. "No Gourry. We're not." Man, why did it seem like Gourry never got anything? "But, Amelia said --- " "Amelia's just going on about "how we're supposed to be spreading justice", Gourry. We're not literally villains. " Finally, he seemed to go quiet.

Cerras was silent when they appeared in the area. She didn't seem to be able to track Lazuli's presence. She was panicking again, her heart pounding in her chest. All she could sense was human, after human, after human. No presence of a monster stood out. She must be hidden somewhere. She glanced to the others, "So... where should we start?"

They would have to stay here til they rotted, or were punished according to this kingdom's rules. What will Daddy think when he finds out...?? she thought, cringing slightly at the thought. He definitely wouldn't be happy with her. But what were they going to do? The guards, no doubt, took Gourry's sword and Zelgadis's as well, so they had nothing hard to bang on the bars to break them. They were stuck.
Xellos glanced around the kingdom, thinking to himself. It was a good sized kingdom, but there weren't too many places where Dynast could hide Lazuli. Especially with what he was planning to do to her. "I suppose the castle would be a good start..." he mumbled. Dynast would have known that at least Phibrizzo would have gone to try and get Lazuli back from him. It was rather annoying that they would have to spend so much time in a place full of mortals.

As she said this, she was staring up at the sky, arms folded behind her back. "Meh. It's still annoying." Phibrizzo growled, kicking up some dirt out of frustration. "He wants to do this for the best of us, thinking that I'm acting out of line... but bah, I think it's just that he wants to piss me off. " He rolled his eyes in annoyance. Cerras let out a sigh. They were getting closer to the castle, but she stopped dead in her tracks, she made a mental link with them all. She was the furthest one ahead, so she was the first to notice. Um... the Castle is surrounded by guards. She told them. And I ... can't use any magic.

Zelas frowned slightly at Hellmaster's response. "I don't think he is even going for that." she muttered. Dynast was smarter than that. Pissing off Phiby usually got some one killed. There was more going on than this. She had never known Dynast to just go with a simple plan. Everything was usually set up so he would win no matter what.
Xellos merely sighed, glancing up when they arrived at the castle. He heard Cerras, and it surprised him a bit. No magic? He tried a light spell and nothing happened. "It figures Lord grausherra would do this..." he mumbled. This would make it even harder to get to Lazuli in time.
[[How are Lina's group getting out? The only thing I can think of is to use Zel as a battering ram against the bars]]

That was the bad part. She didn't want to hurt people too badly without really needing to. If they could somehow sneak in, she'd feel more comfortable. "Do any of you see a way we can sneak in? I could always try to fight some of the few soldiers that might spot us." She didn't mind. It would only be for a little bit of time anyway.

Xellos frowned thoughtfully to himself, staring over at the structure. It would be one thing to just get into the castle, but there was also a wall around it. Like most castles. They may be able to sneak past that without too much trouble, but the castle itself would be another story. "There usually are other entrances, for when the castle is attacked, but...." he frowned slightly. "It's going to be rather difficult to find one without attracting suspicion." If he had a blueprint or something, they'd be able to head towards it without getting attention. But that wasn't possible at the moment.
Zelas ran a hand through her hair, looking rather annoyed. "Well this is wonderful. We'd probably be better off getting ourselves arrested." She grumbled sarcastically. That would be better than just standing here trying to think of something that didn't involve magic or the Astral Plane. She'd already tried that. She wasn't sure how Dynast had pulled it off, but he'd made it impossible to retreat to the Astral Plane in this area. Xellos nodded in agreement, showing that he was coming as well. They wouldn't be getting rid of him that easily. And Lord Beastmaster would never let him hear the end of it, if he didn't accompany her on this rescue mission. Now to the challenge of getting past the guards. They weren't going to just let them walk by. They would probably have to distract them with something.
A wide smile crossed his face. "One moment, please." he moved back away from the castle so it's barrier wouldn't effect him, and then teleported to a nearby part of the castle
Zelas glanced over when she heard a loud explosion, and smirked as all the guards ran towards the large plume of smoke, leaving their entrance of choice wide open.

There was nothing else to do, and so Amelia took to investigating the cell she shared with Lina. It was actually rather big, much to her surprise. She spotted something lying in the opposite corner. She cautiously made her way towards it, only to see it was a child. "Miss Lina. There's a little girl in here..." she said in a hushed whisper.
Sure enough, a young blonde in her early teens lay curled up in next to a stone bench, obviously trying to keep from being seen. There many wounds adorning her body of various severities, and there was a pool of blood forming around her.
Xellos scowled when Phibrizzo pointed out that the guards were returning. He led them around a corner, so they wouldn't be spotted. 'We should check the dungeon.' he told them in mind link. 'That would be the easiest place to hide her. Next would be the King's quarters.' He seriously hoped she wasn't in there.
