Just thought I would see how many people here are Dawn of War Fans. Share you gaming stories, what you like, what you didn't like and what armies you play?
I own all that is out so far. Me and my flatmates used to played DOW1 muiltplayer all the time is so much dam fun.
Imperial Guard and Choas was what i played.
DOW2 on the other hand I havn't done muiltplayer but i loved the singel player campain. The RPG RTS was to me well dam and just addictive.
Can't wait for new one where you play as a team of Orks.
Also rather Addicted to Last Stand.
But now I'm keen to see what you think?

I like Last Stand also. I'm just wondering when we will finally get a new expansion, and who will be the new faction.

I'm not a fan of multiplayer in any RTS since the "strategy" always boils down to rushing your opponents base as fast as possible.
But, that said, I love the campaign and skirmish modes from the first Dawn of War and its expansions. I pretty much play all the armies available, though I've found Imperial Guard and Dark Eldar to be the most boring ones. I tend to stick with Eldar, Orks, Sisters of Battle (no better way to get a pyromania fix 8D), or Necrons, but mostly play whatever I'm in the mood for.

Nope. Too much changes between Soulstorm and Dark Crusade. They are making a version for it though. When it comes out, I have no idea.

Soulstorm was a disappointment. Hell in the canon that campaign was a disaster to the Blood Ravens.
We beat Dawn of War II today, and I am awaiting Retribution so eagerly!!

My computer probably can't run DoW 2. So, I'm stuck with Dark Crusade. But that mod makes it sooo worth it.

I have not played Chaos Rising as I cannot afford it. sad Also Games for windows live is a bish...
So glad they are taking it off with Retribution...

My computer can only handle DoW1 unfortunately.
Buuut, I play Sisters, Guard, and sometimes Mahreens.
Not necessarily in that order.
(In fact, I prefer the Guard explicitly because they have sanctioned psykers.)

I like the Guard because of the Baslisks. Awesome unit in three's. ^^
I play Chaos whenever I play the orginal though. And for DOW2? Tyranids.... nuff said.

Yeah I love the range on those things. Sit them in my base and let them go. One game I was playing i set up so fast with the guard turrets out side my base the it stop my friend building in half of his.
