It should never have happened, and yet it did. Arannis, utterly and completely alone. His fate had been found in solitude, apart from all those he ever considered his friends, his allies. Truly alone, he decides to face off with the impossible. He slowly makes his way into Hell itself, unaware of another that had discovered his actions...Name: Arannis Desrani Race: Celestial Power: General Light-base in magic, healing and self-empowerment to a number of degrees. Other Info: Celestials are inherently frail. Arannis is no exception. He is fast, yes, but even that doesn't give him much room to fight when hit by anything in particular. Appearance:

(That's never fun. I'm sure a description will do, since they have been known to be a big help when one can't hit photobucket. Sympathies, though.)
Arannis stepped through his portal, closing it behind him. Before him, Hell itself swelled in every direction. The expanses themselves dimmed his already low spirits. A tear slid down his face as he remembered a time in his history when he and another had tried for years on end to bring Hell to an end, and were sorely defeated.
This time, though... I have nothing to live for. This time, it ends.
Arannis walked on, mentally examining the adversity that Hell's atmosphere was taking on his abilities, and finding comparatively little, he straightened as we went along.
Fully a dozen demons rose from the pits, standing in the Celestial's path. Each of them released a ray of darkness to him, without a word.
Arannis hadn't expected the sudden offensive, and was quickly blasted away, landing roughly on his back a few dozen yards away, quite pained. He rose to his feet, however slowly. His eyes showed determination and despair only. He would not let this end so quickly.

Kira walked through the portal a frown crossed her lips"are you guys still causing trouble?she asked as she drew her sword"why must I be reduced to this?" she charged holding the sword backhanded she slashed one in half and dodged to the left missing a set of sharp claws she looked over her shoulder at him"get up!"she dodged to the right. sure demons were strong but they were very slow. she stabbed one in the chest and took flight"haha. you can't get me!" she flew over there heads taunting them.

Arannis blinked in disbelief. That someone had in fact been following him was beyond his comprehension, although he did come to his feet and held his arms to either side, a golden glow wrapping around him, restoring his energies. With this, he swept his arm in front of him, releasing a mass of light rays at the remaining demons. They disintegrated into nothing, utterly undone by the force that overtook them. Arannis put his hand to the ground, as rays of light rose around him, his wounds mending unnaturally quickly.
"And... who might you be, lady? I owe you my life." He asked.

Arannis bowed slightly.
"I have been known by several names, although only one rings true. I am Arannis Desrani, Lone Peacemaker of the realms... although I would prefer it if I had not suddenly been given to that title."
He looked away some, closing his eyes, as tears threatened to overwhelm his vision.
"Five and a half thousand years, Kira... I have gone without any peace. There is no worse a fate that I care to find."

Arannis came over to her, feeling a sudden change in his unexpected ally. He knelt down next to her, concerned.
"Are you alright, Kira...?"

Kira looked up"oh. yea i'm fine"she rubbed her eyes. "What does it mean?" she asked herself. why must she be the only Fairy alive? simple. because the others were careless. they didn't think the hunters would come so therefore they didn't prepare. she was the only one who had lived and this ate it her nagging at her constently.

"Kira..."
Arannis rested his hand on her shoulder, in some effort at maintaining her calm.
"...Please, talk to me. I don't know what I might be able to do to help, but anything is better than what I've known the past five centuries."

Arannis' eyes widened. His memory betrayed him. He remembered his home plane of Celestia, how it was ruthlessly destroyed by none other than his brother.
"Kira...... I'm afraid you're mistaken. You may be the last of yours, but... all the same, I am no different. I understand your pain..."

Kira stood"hell is one place that can never be destroyed if hell is desroyed than the bad souls have nowhere to go but Earth and that would cause pain and suffering for the humans"

Arannis looked to her in mild confusion, but in the end, he realized the truth of her words. He nodded, coming to his feet and backing away slightly.
"I... I understand. I came in order to be rid of myself, in all honesty. I would much rather have died, than suffer as I have, and yet I see your wisdom already. Perhaps... perhaps it is best we leave here."
