Reuben Port...XXXXXX

Kaell Grotto is grouped with the Siohchan Islands, and is the smallest island in it. Literally, the entire island is just the cave. There isn't really any place to stand except inside the cave, but even then there's not much to walk on.
On the outside, it just looks like a large, black rocky cave. On the inside, though, is a beautiful landscape, with green ivy and healthy fat leaves running up the walls, intersecting, curving and crossing to create a tightly-woven, messy lattice-like formation. What draws people in to seeing it, though, is the water. It's illuminated bright blue, and there have been no reported sources causing this strange color. Many people have tried cracking the case, but no one's figured it out yet.
Like Ahmeyed Forest, Kaell Grotto remains a mystery. It's a gorgeous place to visit and a nice place to claim you've been to, but what really lies behind its calm waters?

Fay McCallan kept her head up and her gaze straight ahead as she marched through the port town. The air was warm, but the slight breeze of the salty air helped keep her cool.
People seemed to instinctively move out of her way and lower their gaze, as though they believed her to be some kind of hooligan. She seemed unaffected by this, her face remaining its usual impassive, if somewhat severe, self. However, inside she was slightly bothered by it all. Tt was true that she was tall for a woman standing nearly a head higher than everyone around her, and she had a sword tied to her hip but she didn't mean to seem so imposing.
She paused and sighed slightly before shaking herself free of her thoughts, this was no time to be dwelling on how everyone else saw her. She had a meeting with her employer. Besides, on the bright side, she didn't need to push her way through the crowds.

----

It didn't take the dark haired beauty long to find Nicolette's office. For the most part, it appeared to be just a regular building in the more rundown and abandoned part of the town, but she knew that there was an enchantment around it that prevented it from being found by anyone that didn't want to find it.
She pushed the worn wooden door open and stepped through into cooler air and out of the sun. Inside, the building seemed to be constantly in shadows; with books and parchments scattered all around - more Nico's partner's fault than Nico's - but as she walked further in, she came to a seeming oasis in the sea of chaos that was Nico's tidy and well kept mahogany desk. Behind it sat Nicolette Calder herself.
Nicolette was a gentle looking woman, her hair a dark black that almost seemed blue when the light struck it, her skin tanned and her wide blue eyes gentle. For the most part her hair was cut short apart from twin braids on either side of her face. She wore a black cardigan and dark grey trouser, her right hand hidden by a black leather glove.

"Glad you could make it, McCallan."

She smiled at the younger woman, an air about her as though she were a teacher addressing a student. Fay merely nodded her greeting, she was never comfortable with words and communicated more through subtle actions than actually speaking.
Nico steepled her hands together as she continued to smile at the dark haired and slightly imposing woman in front of her.

"You're probably wondering why I pulled you away from the Anderson job right?"

Fay just continued to stare at her.

"Well you see, I've heard word of some possible activity up near Cannaire Village."

Fay arched a single, elegant eyebrow at that.

"It's nothing too serious just yet, probably just some residual supernatural energy but I want you to investigate. If it turns out to be nothing, then there's no need to worry..." The shorter woman's smile suddenly vanished and her eyes grew cold and serious. "However there is the chance that it is just the tip of the iceberg... You know what to do."

Fay nodded once and received one in return before Nico smiled at her again.

"I'm sure Kari can deal with the Anderson case. You be careful out there, I'd hate for something to happen to you, Shinigami."

With one last slight nod towards the older woman Fay spun and marched out the door, her next destination: Cannaire Village.
