2: Post in third-person except if it's a character talking about themselves, using words such as "I, me, myself, etc."
3: Follow the Gaia Terms of Service. I can't stress this enough.
4: No continuous dodging or continually successful Pokéballs. If it happens I'll say so in which you will edit it.
5: Higher-ups (Captain, VC's, Crew) are absolute. However, they also have to follow the rules.
6: You CAN become a Gym Leader or member of the Elite Four. See below.
7: Legendary Pokémon are now able to be caught. However, you must find them first. I will RP as legendary Pokémon if they decide to randomly encounter you.
- I decide who is worthy of capturing the legendary Pokémon and I will make them battle you.
- Only Ultra Balls (at 15 HP or lower) and Master Balls work.
- There is only one of each.
8: Only six Pokémon and four moves per Pokémon. Energy/PP is not required. Any extra Pokémon are sent to PC (Pokémon space varies, you need to keep track of these).
9: Pokémon can only learn moves specific to their learning set. Refer to Bulbapedia for what each Pokémon can learn.
10: Only Kanto Region Pokémon that are specific to the area, no Sinnoh pokemon or any other regions. Refer to the Bulbapedia for spawning locations.
11: You can have only a certain number of items in your backpack. Please refer below.
-Normal Items: 30, 50 Each.
-Pokéballs: All, 20 Each (unless a Breeder or Collector, wherein you get double).
12: YOU control any wild Pokémon battle. However, when against another trainer, specific moves must be made between each trainer. Each trainer's Pokémon has 100 health. Refer to the Bulbapedia for attack power (pwr.) for GENERATION 1.
- Start by generating a random number between 1 and 100. The higher number goes first.
- Anything power 0-40: Roll two 12 sided dice, that is the damage.
- Anything Power 41-80: Roll four 20 sided dice, that is the damage.
- Anything 80+: Roll two 100 sided dice, if the first is lower than 50, it's a miss. The second is the damage SPACESPACESPACESP(if it hits and doesn't miss based upon the first dice).
- Statuses are included, however, stats aren't (however they are in wild battles if you want).
- Weaknesses make attacks do double damage. Refer to this.
- Resistances halve the damage taken. Refer to this.
- Some types do no damage to specific types. Refer to this.
- To dodge, roll a 20 sided dice after the attack. If above 10, the dodge succeeded.
13: Every Player starts out with 500 Pokédollars. Normal trainers award 100 Pokédollars to the person they lost to.
14: You can only choose one of the Pokémon listed below the form.
15: To evolve Pokémon, specific steps must be followed.
-If it evolves by leveling, the Pokémon must win 30 battles to evolve to its next form.
- If it requires a certain stone, you MUST acquire it somehow.
16: If you are buying items, refer to Bulbapedia for prices.
17: I control all gym leaders and the Elite Four until they are replaced.
18: Update your info for your character as the story progresses.
19: There's no such things as HM abilities. Meaning that all Pokémon have their specific abilility already, for example, a Gyarados can already swim (surf actually), and a Fearow can already fly (but you need to visit the town before you can fly to them).
20: Romance is allowed, keep the clothes on though. If it's something your mom would be ashamed of you for, take it to the PMs.
21: Post Out of Character (OoC) in double Parentheses. Eg. ((Messgage.)) or [[Message.]]
22: Gym leaders can use ONE potion per gym battle.
23: Potions have the same healing value EXCEPT Potion and Hyper Potion.
-Potion: Heals 25 HP.
-Super Potion: Heals 50 HP.
-Hyper Potion: Heals 75 HP.
-Max Potion: Heals all HP.
24: If you get a status, it effects you in specific ways.
-When dealing statuses, roll an extra dice, if the number is over half, it takes effect.
- Poison/Bad Poison: If infected, each turn the Pokémon takes 10 or 20 damage respectively.
- Sleep: For 10 turns your Pokémon will can't move. However, if attacked after 5 turns it can wake up.
- Paralysis: If infected, roll an extra dice when attacking. If it's under half, you won't attack.
- Burn: If infected, each turn the Pokémon takes 5 damage.
- Freeze: If frozen, you cannot move for 5 turns. After five turns, you are thawed.
- Confusion: If confused, roll an extra dice. If below half, you take 10 damage.
- Attract: If infatuated, roll an extra dice, if under half, you won't attack.
- Partial Trap: If affected, you take 5 damage each turn, you also may not withdraw Pokémon, lasts 5
turns.
25: Repels last two routes/forests/caves. Max Repels last four routes/forests/caves. Towns/Cities don't count.
26: The rp takes place during P/D/P age so I guess Pokegear are allowed.
27: Gym Leader difficulty depends on your starter town. The farther you are from home, the harder the gym. If you are from a town with a gym, your gym is easiest, only exception being Viridian City, Saffron City, and Cinnabar Island. See below.
- Easiest
28: If your friend has Writer's Block (where they can't think of something to reply with), you may expand your post or double post.
29: Normal Safari Zone time is 10 posts.
30: There are certain ways to get NPC numbers. They are listed below.
- Nurse Joy: Go to the Pokémon Center with a Breeder and talk to her.
- Officer Jenny: Meet Officer Jenny while at a crime scene.
- Professor Oak: Meet Professor Oak.
- Gym Leaders: Defeat the Gym Leader.
- Elite Four: Meet the member.

- 1st Offense: Minor Warning.
- 2nd Offense: Warning.
- 3rd Offense: Editting of Post.
- 4th Offense: Editting of Post.
- Final Offense: Banned from RP.
32: Upon a trainer getting their 4th Gym Badge, they will receive the Master Ball. This ball works without fail. It can be given away but not sold.
33: Once a trainer vs. trainer battle starts (human ones), all other RP is ceased and resumes once the battle ends.
34: If you can imagine it, it probably exists. Secret stuff is hidden around Kanto. See if you can find it.
35: Poison dealing abilities, such as Poison Point, where if you are physically attacked or are physically attacking there is a chance of dealing Poison, do the following.
- If attacking a Pokémon with the ability, roll an extra die, if above 3/4 of the max, you are poisoned.
- If defending and you have the ability, roll an extra die, if above 3/4 of the max, the opponent is poisoned.
