Because my homework is annoying me and I'm sure yours is too. WTF. Why does this essay's rough draft have to be written out? Why can't I just print it off? I type at least three times faster than I write... grr. I love you Mrs. Baker, but you're completely batty. Also, science teacher: WTF with all the consecutive projects??

ASSIGNMENT - Write a 3-5 page short play, no less than 650 words, relating to what you learned with your service learning project about your social issue.
DUE - ...in 5 hours, 16 minutes.
SOCIAL ISSUE - literacy
ACTUAL TOPIC OF MY PLAY - ...basically, alcoholism. xD But I spent all of Saturday night and some of Sunday morning, um, doing research. Yeah. >>;; Sooo many ******** you, Qualls. I'm writing my play on whatever the hell I want to write it on. I don't care if the end is pedantic, you can kiss my pretty white a** if you don't like it.

650 words in five hours? And it has to be good, not just NaNo-quality? OUCH. > w<
Today I just have a bunch of accumulated homework, not a massive amount from anyone except for science teacher <--- massive amounts of homework for her are just normal little piles.

HAha, no, it was due in five hours at the time of that posting. We've known about the assignment all semester, haha. xD
I had about 950 words by the time I made that post.
And it ended up being about alcoholism, but whatevs. If he doesn't like it, screw him. It's only 10% of my final grade, so no big deal.

Homework was the main reason I never tried Nano while I was at university. They love to pile on the projects in November and I was afraid I wouldn't have time to work on them as it was, let alone try to write a 50,000 word novel at the same time.

I'm taking two college level English classes, and while they're my only difficult ones, I have a lot of pointless math homework for a class I'm retaking. It sucks balls. I hate that class.
I have no science classes this year, and half of the history class that I'm supposed to have because I already took Econ even though non-seniors aren't supposed to. (go me!)

AP English wasn't so bad at my high school when I took it. I got a 3 on English Language and a 4 on English Lit... but it didn't matter either way, because my SAT scores ended up getting me out of Comp 1 and 2.
And none of my other AP classes applied to my major.
So I have like, 20 hours of credit that I can't really use for anything. But, hey, that means I'll be a sophomore at the end of this semester. (:

I don't know if they apply to my major but I enjoy both of them immensely, and I'm learning a lot in Writing 121. I'm mostly taking AP because the guy I like is in that class (LAME, I know, feel free to point it out) but it's been worth it, since my best friend is in that class too, as well as all the funny people from last year's AP US History. The teacher's a riot.
My all-time favorite class is probably choir, though, even though we actually have homework. We have a mass choir concert Friday and nearly all of our songs are 1) new to us and 2) in other languages. Fun times.

Well, I don't know about the college you plan on going to, but most colleges require a couple of composition and literature classes as part of their core curriculum for everyone, regardless of major. So if you can AP out of those, then you'll have more time for fun classes.
My AP French credit did count toward my minor, though, so I got to skip 3 French classes. Now I only need 3 more and I'll have a minor in French. =D
Ooo, have fun with that concert. I can't sing at all, which is why I'm a band geek, haha.

I see no reason why not. That's why the "home" in "homework" is in brackets - so it could apply to work too.

Okay, then this will be for both! biggrin
I will kick off the work-related stuff with this: I work at a Target. Normally I scan the stuff that's out and restock it from the back room, but on Black Friday, I am scheduled to cashier for 8.5 hours, starting at 3:50 in the goddamn morning. I am SOOO not a morning person, so as you can imagine... I am dreading this like crazy. It's going to take immense amounts of caffeine to keep me going that day. Ergh.

i hate christmas.
i ******** hate it.
it's only fun for people who have "jobs" that get two weeks vacation every christmas because all they accomplish in a given day is filing papers and drinking coffee and verbally outsizing one another through flattery and empty smiles.
if you want, i can stand behind you with a shot gun and take out the really bad ones for you.
