The desert of Hueco Mundo is a vast, seemingly endless expanse of white sands and perpetual night. It is sparsely decorated by the occasional plant, actually made of crystallized rock known as quartz, or the scattered rock formation. Hollows are few and far between, with some staking claim over territory for themselves for a time, though the need to constantly travel in search of food for stronger Hollows promotes a need to remain nomadic, while the weaker tend to hide in fear of stronger predators. It is the most common place for battle to take place, even amongst the members of the Menos Army; it is a neutral location, with no development of buildings that would be placed at risk in an all out brawl. The tall towers of Las Noches can be spotted from nearly any location in the desert; despite it's endless size, Las Noches is the central point of Hueco Mundo, and the only place that features anything other then sand and quartz.
