Ishida and I have talked and debated, but what if we allowed Final Fantasy Type characters as a new class once the guild gets moving? Like... you might have a sword like Cloud or be a ninja like Yuffie?

how about a Magician class like Donald and a Soldier class like Goofy first. They seem to be something that should come before any classes from other games.

here this is what i had in mind

Description: Dark magic Users
Rewards: Ability to create and use a Dark Magic. Allows you to learn Heartless and nobody spells

Seer Magician:
Required: 35 Levels in three Magic Spell.
Description: Seer Magicians do not take sides with light or darkness. The keep a perfect balance within their own hearts.
Rewards: x2 exp, cost 50 levels

Ultima Classes

Royal Magician:
Required: Was a Master, Level 150 and defeat one of the already seated Royal magicians
Description: There are only seven Royal Magicians at one time.
Rewards: a powerful rare wand only this class can us

Corrupt Magician:
Required: Was Rouge, Level 150

Required: Was Seer, 80 levels in one dark spell and one light spell

I found a flaw with the basic of the battle system that could be badly abused. Power is the most powerful stat and 'stat whoring' it will win every time. I think that to fix this and prevent single turn lasting battles, there should be a few changes.

1. only add half of your power to attack damage and the strength of a block.
2. roll a ten sided die for blocks as well as attacks to add a little more variety or range for effects.
3. roll a ten sided die for dodges as well, also adding only half the users speed to the roll.
4. every stat point invested in HP is worth two points of HP. Maybe even three.

I may think of others but this is to help make battles a little more lively that one or two posts long.

Interesting... I didnt encounter anything like this while play testing with Ishida,,, but.. you make a valid point or two... maybe we should establish stat-caps or rules on balancing like.. "You cant have one stat that is double your third strongest stat?"

Ex: You cant have a 50 Magic Skill if your Magic Points arent at least a 25?

So what you mean in that case would be if I had for example:
Power: 19
Speed: 10
HP: 10
Magic: 5
MP: 5
Power here couldn't go to 20 until HP (third highest stat in this case) is increased by at least one more point then?

Although I think the reverse potency of Strength verses HP and even MP maybe should be added still. Even in Re Coded, 2 HP is considered equal to 1 for magic, strength or defense on the stat grid for it. MP is nonexistent as all skills just have cool downs for themselves individually.

I could change the Health and Magic Points Stats into

Resilience and Talent

and then create HP and MP as master stats not relating to the main stats

HP: Is equal to Resilience + your Character Level
MP: Is equal to your Talent + Resiliance

hmm....interesting way of putting it. But it seems like it would work quite well actually. But I wonder about that question I asked above. The example's power couldn't become 20 until HP or in the even of a change, their resilience stat was increased from 10 to 11 for being the third highest stat?

Actually, I just had an idea for an Ultima class for Heartless and Nobodies.

Perfect Being:
Requirements: Finding the other half and becoming one with it once more (i.e. the matching nobody or heartless born from the heart taken victim)
Benefits: x2 exp and maybe access to the skills of whichever you fused with to work with the ones you have. (i.e. Nobody could learn Heartless skill and Heartless could learn Nobody skills)
Maybe a few unique class skills too.

Ive talked with jake on these things.

1.) Dont like stat caps... that's lame.
2.) Dont mind level caps... that's acceptable.
3.) HP and MP becoming new stats is fine.
4.) The new ultima classes and such can wait till after RP begins moving.
