↪XXXXXXXXXHistory: Ciel's history can be put into simple terms, quite bumpy. Since he was a small child, he has had to answer to to names, and act completely different when it came to that. When he was born, his parents had fought over what to name him, name him a French, gentle name, or a rough, Russian name. So, in the end, they flipped a coin, the mother won of course and named her son Ciel, while the father got the short hand of the stick and had to go for the middle name, using Robert. In the end, his name was Ciel Robert Romanov. Now, when his mother called him, she would only use Ciel, she would teach him to be a refined, well-mannered gentleman. While, on the other hand, his father would only use his middle name to call him, where he would teach him to be a what he considered a man. Don't show emotions, be the man of the house, never cry, and the basis of what he was taught. In the end, when his father called, he acted what his father wanted him to be, when his mother called, he acted like what she wanted him to be.
As he grew, he began to develop problems, as his parents seemed too loony for his taste. The whole, be a man, be a gentleman whenever the other name was called, made him not very confident. He tried to be what they both wanted him to be, but really never could, as it was hard to mix both teachings at dinner, and any other time when the family was all together. As he got into his teen years, he tried to stay away from the house as long as possible, going out with friends, taking girls out on dates, and often spending nights over at his best friend Sasha's house.
Eventually, he couldn't take acting like two completely different people any more, as when he hit 18, he packed his things and left. He moved to Paris for eight years, where he met many people, one of the most important would be a man named Francis, who seemed more like a father than Mikel, his real one. Francis offered him a job at his restaurant, and a room at his house. After years of saving and living with Francis, he said his goodbyes and left to a open lot in Nirvani island. He still keeps in touch with Francis, and they often write to each other.
