The Story
Lucille awoke in her huge, purple pillow bed. She took a soft yawn and blinked scanning her chamber. The same as always. She got up from the cushy bed and made her way to her dresser across the room. Looking into the mirror, she put on her collar and began to brush her long soft hair and then groomed her ears and fluffy big tail. This place wasn't a dirty, horrible slave shop like you would think slave and pets are purchased from. The shop was more for the wealthy. Since it took a lot of money and responsibility to own your own slaves, some masters or mistresses began to complain of the tasteless and harmful conditions of previous workshops. Their effort in protest made this wonderful chamber and life possible for Lucille. She was grateful even though slaves were looked down upon. She was one of the lucky slaves taken in from broken down shops and felt more like a pet now. Depending on the master, they could purchase you under a slave or as their pet. Lucille sighed soft as no one came to her room with any announcement or approve for her. "One day...I'll be free. I just know it." She told herself in her mind being strong-willed at heart.

A knock was at the door of Lulu's room, it was a guard and behind the guard stood Cody. He had purchased her when he looked around at the slaves.

Lucille's ears perked up quickly and got excited. "Some one has come for me!" She thought to herself. She felt so bubbly inside but she contained herself, not wanting to seem childish in front of her possibly new master. Lucille quickly dressed herself in her best dress with ruffles and lace wanting to look decent. She unlocked the door and slowly opened it up with her cheeks becoming a bright red. Lucille cleared her throat and curtsied before the two men. "Good evening, sir. My name is Lucille. It is a pleasure to meet you and I appreciate you taking your time out to see me." She looked up to the young man's face with a soft, gentle smile.

The guard moved out of the way and Cody walked closer, "Good evening to you too Lucille, My name is Cody." He said introducing himself kindly.
