I personaly do not know a lot about most of the partys such as the Tea Party (Though I know they're going to be making us into Fundamentalists if they are put into office) and such.
But I would like to hear everyones views on them and the other parties such as the Republicans, the Democrats, the Liberals, Ect.
I personaly am a Liberal but I also disagree about some of the things like all the free health care and such and other things.
I personaly don't care for the Republicans because they quite litteraly would take our rights away if given the chance. They also would stop all of the health care benefits (Some I do agree with such as Medicare). They would cancel abortion and such. End research in many projects that should be getting researched (Stem Cells Obviously though I do not agree with them at times).
I also see that the democrats are a bit religous too. Not as more open as the liberals. Even though they are on the left wing.

well in my opinion voting tea party is voting for state instituted religion.
Republicans are ok, they spend a lot on education, witch is good, but they tend to cut spending in area's I don't want it cut in... and the name has somewhat became synonymous with creationist.
Liberals seem to advocate more freedom than I think most can handle.
and Democrats have no idea how to handle money.

Vote on issues, not on candidates.

Well, I don't much like any of the political parties, but I tend to agree with the Democrats. But, I guess if you were going to label me, I'd be a socialist. Because I believe that once everyone has all their basic necessities seen to, then real progress can get done. Like research.
This last presidential election has made my fiance really... jaded. It was the first presidential election we could vote in for both of us, and at this point, it might be the only one he votes in. He has said that he won't go to vote unless there is a policy that he feels strongly for. I feel that's not enough. I personally would go and vote if Sarah Palin, or someone else as firmly rooted in trying to make their religion into the government, were running for any office I could vote for.

I'm a left wing liberal I guess cause I tend to support thier veiws like on gay marraige and what not. but all in all I don't give a s**t about politics

I am an Agnostic who is a libertarian. I believe that the Federal Government should be as small as possible. Being a Libertarian I also believe in free trade and in the freedoms that the constitution provides. One other thing is that I believe in personal freedoms like the ability to do drugs. I don't give a s**t about what you do just aslong as you don't encroach on my rights as a person.
I also think that the tea party is a good thing because they are not for fundamentalism, but for personal freedom. Two people who are libertarians that you should be aware of are John Stossel and Judge Andrew Napolitano.
John Stossel himself is an agnostic.
I hope you guys start to see that the tea party is not as bad as the media portrays it.
