I'm sorry for your loss. Just remember that even though your Yoshi is dead that your dreams will still keep him alive in spirit.

Thanks, JJ. sad And yeah. All I can think of to prevent myself crying is to remember that he was in pain and that it was for the better that he died.

I know how you will feel. I always get so attached to my pets. The house feels as though a person died. Everyone's moving around, just moping.

Yeah...you pretty much lose a family member.
I remember when my cat died, years ago, I kept thinking I saw him around the house - I was so used to him always being there.

Yeah. I lost my cats one after the other a few years ago. I remember that I, also, used to imagine hearing them meowing at the doors like they used to. sad

My cat passed away two months ago. I see her in my dreams. It is very comforting

He was a mutt. xd But he was a Doberman mix. I have another dog, Choo-Choo, and he's been looking for Yoshi around the house all day. sad How long ago did your dog die, Mai?

He died about 4 years ago, I want to say. He was a chocolate lab.

Well, at least we still have him. Yoshi was his alpha, so now he will have to rely on his own strength from now on. smile It's weird, but his voice has already deepened to match the way in which Yoshi used to bark, even though Yoshi died today. And I'm sorry to hear that. I love that breed of dog!
