At this rate we'll be making parodies every year. For reminiscent sakes of the creation process I'm leaving the following posts below. ~Signed Angel ~ -------------------------------------- Ok, so this was Punky's latest song idea which I've taken and run with. After the events of "Live Free or Twihard" she commented that Love The Way You Lie seemed to fit the episode and Dean's feelings and that maybe we could parody it.
After much searching she found this follow up which works even better. Angel and I futzed around with the lyrics and came up with this:
On the first day that I saw you
I knew something wasn’t right
And then you let me become evil
You betrayed me, I don’t know why
Even angels lie for their own ends
And I thought you were family
But you just can’t be my brother
He wouldn’t turn his back on me
Just gonna stand there and watch me turn
He’s feeding me blood and all you do is stare and smirk
Now I’m a monster it’s all on your hands
How you let this happen I will never understand

Now I can’t trust your heated words
Faith is broken from this fight
In this game that I can’t hope to win
Though I’ll try with all my might (not happy with this line)

That our friends refuse to see it

I did. Badly. Don't damage your eardrums unnecessarily people, but it's here for the sake of arguement. Please don't hurt me, I'm out of practice and this isn't the stuff I was taught (Phantom of the Opera? Point me at it. This? Not a chance in hell)

Yeah, stupid thing. I knew it uploaded too quickly as well! Last time I used that program it took nearly an hour to get everything up. This time it was up in moments *head desk* I hate technology.

Wow I just heard the song. This one will work perfectly cuz Eminimen is easy to cut out since he's not singing every freaking line. haha
I can see how some of the lyrics are gonna go, but I'll have to hear Temi's sample to get a better idea.

Yea I have that youtube mp3 converter add on from firefox so it's easy.
You know I can be my own backup vocals if I need to. With audacity I can sing over my prerecorded track.
I've doe that before when I made an acapella. biggrin

I can't either.
I chopped the instrumental down a little bit so that we get rid of the bit where he would sing otherwise it's just a long patch of nothing. Trying to get everything to work now *sigh*

The version of Audacity I've got only converts to .wav files, which is fine because those can be opened with windows media player anyway. It just takes a bit of fiddling. I'll stick the audacity versions back up later as well anyway, for giggles if nothing else.

The technology portions of this discussion are melting my brain a little @_@
Anyway, ok, i get it now, I forgot Eminem was in the part 2 too *facepalm* You gotta forgive me, I didn't get to bed till 2 AM, was up all night because Mikey woke up at 4 AM whining and wouldn't stop for hours, then I was running around all day today shopping for gifts and now I'm trying to catch up on NaNo, so I'm just on another planet right now sweatdrop
I wish I could contribute more sweatdrop
