Ankou settled in the window frame of the fairly tall bell tower. His back rested against one side of it, his foot pressed up against the other side, and his foot dangling out the window. One of his arms where wrapped around his knee and the other was draped over his abdomen. He let out a frustrated sound. How dare his father do this to him just because he didn't want to go around reaping peoples souls. He was absolutely livid and extremely upset. He swore that no matter what that man did he would NEVER follow in his foot steps.

Lyja was heading up the staircase to the bell tower. He didn't care if he got in trouble, he was the demi-god of chaos for goodness sake! He heard was sounded to be coming from the main room in the tower. Someone was here. He came to the top of the steps but kept his head low, seeing the figure in the window frame. He glared at the person. He hated othrs more than anyne could understand. Maybe a little chaos would bring some fun into his first day in this hell hole.

Ankou stole a glance at the new comer. He snorted, "Psh. Little chaos gonna cause some trouble? Well do it somewhere else. I would like to keep this place as mine and im sure whatever you were planning would most likely end up having security guarding the place 24/7." He went back to looking up at the rising sun.

Lyja 'tsk'ed at the boy. Already, he didn't like him. Then again it never did take him long to hate someone. He could take one little glance at someone and instantly hate them without a reason. Don't judge him, it's just how he is. Like some people are good at liking someone easily and others, like Lyja, clearly aren't.

"Ugh you sound like my a** of a father when you make that sound." He groaned. He wished Cerberus was here. At least he didn't have anything assholish to say to him...but alas he was too busy guarding the gates. Lately humans were trying to get through because they wanted some war or something. He wished they would stop. It caused problems for everyone...including Cerberus.

Well, might as well get to know the first guy he hates here. He came up from the staircase and stood on the other side other room, leaning against the wall. He pushed up his glasses and stared at him.
"My name is Lyja...who the hell are you?" He asked, not really giving a damn if he answered or not.

"My name is ankou. My father is the grim reaper. He send me to this ******** hell hole because i refuse to use my reaper powers and take over his job once he retires. He thinks that the head mistress will be able to steer me straight just because she is Satan's daughter." He let out a bone chilling laugh, "It's quite funny. She can't do anything to scare me. I take after my father stubborn and the personification of death itself! ******** b*****d." He looked at Lyja, "So why are you here?"

He smirked a little at Ankou's little story. So this was the child of Death himself, eh? And from what he said, he didn't want his daddie's job when he's older.
"My mother, Eris, sent me here so I could...practice my powers and learn of my future victims." He chuckled.

"Really? Hmph. Father likes your mothers work. He says she makes it all the more fun to reap messed up peoples souls..." He muttered. His red eye glowed in the earie light of the morn. "I kind of hate my powers...well not the flying one. I like that. Father can take the rest though."

"My mother says it's an honor to work with someone like Death." He said, getting a small white bird from his pocket. It was only the size of his thumb. His mother had golden apples, he had white birds. Sure he could go behind some and do his own magic but these babies got the jobs done without having him to do anything.
"What is it about your powers that you hate?" He asked.

"The fact that I see when a persons life is coming to a close." He muttered. He could also see when animals and plants lives are ending as well. Whenever he walks through a meadow or forest he could never enjoy it because he saw when everthing was going to expire. "And don't ask me. I cant tell anyone what I see."

Lyja listened carefully, stroking the bird's head in his palm. That did sound kind of depressing. Sucks for him though, his dad is just going to keep bugging the poor guy about it.
"That sounds terrible." He said, pushing up his glasses.

Ankou nodded, "What's worse is when it ends and it keeps living...that means i have to reap it. It takes all i got not too. Stupid scythe keeps bugging me. 'do iiit. do iiit.' It's really rather annoying and i sounds like a ******** *****." He snorted. "I think he should just get it over with and disown me so i can go off and become a musician." He muttered quietly.
