Lachesis sat at her desk, looking over the roster for the new year. Each name was followed by a check on their string, and a soft nod in understanding. Right, it was a good class after all....true, there were some trouble makers, but it wouldn't be a school without them. She leaned back in her chair and closed the tired eyes. The school year had only just begun, and already the fate was exhausted. It was partially due to the heat wave that had seemed to strike earlier that week, forcing her to tie back to long blue hair....causing that damned sight to go nuts.
"So much to see, so much string to be measured." she muttered to herself, yawning.

The demi-god was the first student to enter. Why would he need to learn something like divination? He was the demi-god a chaos, not a fate. He looked at the teacher for less than a moment then took his seat in the back row. He took the small bird from his pocket, ready at any moment to have some fun.

Lachesis looked up, and then backed down to the thin string wrapped around some of her fingers, pulled taunt so she could examine it. So this kid was the Chaos Demi, huh? She should report what he did to Natalia's room to the Head Mistress, it was considered destruction of school property and would not be tolerated.
"So you're Lyja, the little trouble maker on campus." It was not a question, it was a statement. The woman knew everything about all of her students, it was her job outside of this one. Her blue eye traveled up from the string and landed on the boy. Her blue lips pulled into the same tight line as the string, unimpressed by what she saw.

Ankou followed in after his new friend he looked at the fate and crossed his arms, "Hello teacher. How are you today?" He asked. His face was set at a bored expression.

"Yeah, what's your point, Teach?" He said, tossing the bird up an down in his hand. He looked to his friend then to the teacher, smirking. He didn't care if a teacher liked him or not, his mother only cared about his grades.

"I am fine...," she pulled up another string and glanced at it before her blue mouth twisted into a slightly amused grin. So, these two would have to be dealt with this year, huh? Not like she didn't know already...the year was going to be interesting. Lachesis looked to the two in her classroom and leaned forward, placing the two strings down before propping her head up with a single pale hand.
"Welcome to Divinations gentlemen, ah but Lyja, I would not pull an attitude here young man...," the Fate leaned back in her chair and turned it to face the window behind her, "At least, not after what you did to the cooking classroom."

He pushed up his glasses as he was still smirking. So his little bundle of fun went to the cooking class. He wasn't surprised that the fate knew of this, it was her job and power to know. "Of course, teacher." He said sarcastically.

"So I'm guessing father had something to do with jamming me into this class?" He mumbled. His father said knowing when someone was supposed to die when you couldn't see them made that stupid job easier.

"Would you like me to leave that as a question, or to answer? I'm sure you know the answer already, and I know how you're going to answer...." The woman frowned and spun back to face the boys, bored with their conversation already. Another reason that the blunette didn't converse with other normally. What fun is it if you already what they would say, feel, look like....Maybe if she covered her other eye, ah, but that would be weird. Her eyes narrowed at the thought. Curse this foresight of hers.
"Don't pull a tone on me boy, as a fate, I can easily change your life string however I feel." she replied cooly, brushing a small strand of hair behind an ear.

The demi-god 'hmph'ed and let the little chaos bird go. The bird flew around the class while Lyja sat back and watched. "You shouldn't worry about my tone, Ms. Fate."

Wei Bu walked into the classroom. His hair curl bouncing slightly with each step he took. He bowed slightly out of respect for his teacher and save a slight smile, "Good morning Ms. Fate...or would you rather have me refer to you as madam?" His tone was polite.

"Right on time Wei Bu," she smiled up to the boy, ignoring the Chaos demi. He could be petty and childish all he wanted, the boy's fate in her class had been sealed when he was born, so it mattered not to the teacher. The woman stood up and walked over to the new boy, a string already in hand. This one had potential, and such manners as well. She held out a slender hand and smiled her best, blue lipstick and all.
"You may call me whatever is most comfortable for yourself."

What a kiss up, maybe a little chaos should put him in his place. He trailed his eyes to his bird, still circling the class. Like on command, the bird swooped down and landed on Wei Bu's shoulder. It burst into smoke and is shoulder caught on fire.

Wei Bu nodded, "Thank you Madam fate." He took his seat near the front of the class. He looked around and saw the other two students. He smiled warmly to them, "Hello my name is--"
Ankou rolled his eyes, "I don't give a damn fishy." He snorted.
