Elatha eyed the silver pocket watch on his desk, counting the seconds until the start of class. He was determined to ignore his new class until class legitimately started. Eventually, he would tell them not to take it personally-- he always gave his new students the cold shoulder. Monster History was one of the most basic courses in the school, so pretty much everyone came and went from his classroom at one point, much to his dismay. He hated crowds.
Three.
Two.
One.
One and a half.
"... alright, welcome to Monster History." He sighed, looking up at the class.

Emrys timidly walked into the class. A giant blush covering his face. Oh no! He was late... He took a seat near the front and sunk down in it. What if the teacher thought he was a little kid? Ugh that's what made him late in the first place.

Elatha eyed the student who had just walked in, looking back down at his attendance sheet. Just as he thought, he wasn't teaching elementary school this period. "... and you are?"

Emrys frowned at the look he received from the teacher and sunk lower into his seat wishing he could disappear, "My name is Emrys S-Sir...."
Wei Bu walked into the class. He was happy but his face didn't show it at the moment. He had made new friends, "Hello. Sorry i'm late. This school is rather large."

"Uh huh. Alright, Emrys. Welcome to Monster History. And new arrival." Elatha replied with a nod. "At the moment, this class is rather empty, so we'll wait a few more minutes, if that's alright with you. By the way, lateness won't be tolerated next time, so be on time of I take off points."

Tani opened the door, still looking at her school map, and cleared her throat. She asked in her quiet voice, I-is this monster history?" She noticed the boy from her witchcraft class in one of the seats.
