Sauske stood under a tree. It was mid-evening,or better known as twilight. Jake streached his arms out and yawned. He was in human form,and looked and acted sixteen. "So, Sauske,any plans?" He asked Sauske. "Nope. Just stay around,kill crminals,you know." Sauske replied. Jake shrugged. "Well,I'm gonna eat. C'mon,Aren't you hungry?" Sauske smiled. "Well....duh! Of course I am!" Jake started waling down the hill side near Central City.Sauske smiled. "Race you!" He said,sitting down on the slope and sliding down it. Jake followed him and laughed. Ever scince Sauske's parents died,Jake had been the only friend Sauske had. It got lonely. Maybe it was the SMALLER things that mattered most now. It was a feeling of deep regret,but also a feeling of hope.Anyways,it made a nice feeling. And a terrible feeling.

"Will you 2 shut up." Sam yells at Sara and Nina, not for the first time, as they argue loudly. "Not until I prove her wrong." they both yell back. "Sam, having grown tired of their arguments, slapped his hands together and touched their coats transmuting them into gags that immediately stopped the conversation. "I'll not remove them until you promise to stop arguing." Sam told them. "HEKFOAVJSGKSBSKVJSGKHDN." came the muffled reply. Sam just shrugged at them "I can't understand you." he said loftily. The two women glared at him as he walked past them. Then Sara grabbed him with one hand and pulled him to the ground holding a knife to his throat. "You won't kill me Sara. You value life too much." he told her and sat up then instantly leaned back down to avoid a kick from Nina. Rolling backwards to his feet Sam told them "No more games children. We must get to the hotel and check in." after saying this Sam and Shadow took off at a brisk trot...each of them pushing one of the gagged girls.

"Do you two promise to behave?" Sam asked Sara and Nina. Both women nodded. "Good now I'm going to remove the gags." as Sam said this he touched the gags and they instantly turned back into coats. "There all better." Sam told them as he stood up. The two women looked at one another and said "Truce." Then glared at Sam.

Lunar Sat in a tree with her baby wolf Akamaru and was thinking about the people she ran into, Akamaru bark, he was hungry so Lunar Gave him his favorite Fish Tuna, Akamaru ate it Happily

"You know they both hate you now." Shadow told Sam as the were walking back to the hotel. "Yes I know that, but better they hate me and do it silently then them picking at each other all the time. You'd think 2 State Alchemist would be able to control themselves better." Sam told Shadow simply. "Yes. Which brings up the question why did you gag them?" "I was pressed for time and I wanted them to shut up.........why not gag them?" Sam told Shadow. "Because now the are going to work together to get back at you for that." Shadow told Sam repressing the urge to shudder "I just got used to having you as my commander and I don't want to lose you." "Well don't worry about that. They can't stand each other for long." Sam said then lapsed into silence as they approached the hotel....a feeling of unease settling over him.

"Your Sam Sharp aren't you?" a voice asked them as Sam and Shadow entered the lobby of the motel. "Who's asking?" Sam asks turning to see the speaker more clearly. "That would be me." replied a blond man. "I'm supposed to help Sam Sharp and his team protect Nina Fauna. So I'll ask again. Are you Sam Sharp?" then man continued calmly. "Well what's your name?" Shadow demanded. "You can't just talk to him that way." "The name is Long Shot." "Welcome aboard Long Shot. Hmmmmm......I can't call you that all the time......how about Shot?" Sam asks Long Shot....who just shrugs. "Ok, now that that is settled let's go see our charge." With that Sam leads him to the room they are staying in. Sam opens the door and Shot walks in...and is attacked by a small Chimera.....Several Hours Later....Shot wakes up. "What happened?" He asks his voice coming out in a croak. "You where attacked by a small Chimera.....it was venomous. Your fine now, but it was a near thing." Sam tells him, turning his head to one side Sam bellows "Nina he's awake.". At the sound of a door opening Shot turns to see Nina come into the room. "I'm sorry about the Chimera. It was meant for Sam." Nina says glaring daggers at Sam.....his response was a vulgar gesture accompanied by a rude noise. "Welcome to the team." Shadow says a wry twist to his mouth. "Would you like to see the thing that did this to you Shot?" Sam asked him. "Yes." Was all that Shot said as a way of reply. Sam draws a jar out from behind his back and presents it to Shot. The creature inside the jar was smaller than his hand. "This nearly killed me?" Shot demanded. "Yes." Sam told him.

Looking out the window of the hotel Sam noticed a lady sitting in a tree.....he stands and goes to stand under the tree.

flandre runing as fast as she could tripped falling on her face scratching it badly, she got up when the sounds of footsteps behind got closer and closer. flandre saw the tree and ran striaght for it hiding behinde it so they couldnt see her

Watching men run past the tree the girl just hid behind, Sam walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you ok? What was that all about?" Sam asked her quietly.

flandre watched the men pass them by she looked at sam "yeah im fine, lets just say they were some angry custermors" flandre took sams hand off her shoulder and dusted off the dirt on her dress

"Look! It looks like sometihng's going on over there!" Sauske said excidedly.He was reffering to the chimmera incedent. "Who cares? They look tough. Rule no. 1 of the alchemist life. Never approach a strong alchemist,traveler,monster,etc." Jake said.
