Although Sangue's defeat marked the end of Arannis' corrupted state of being eighty years ago, Darcul continued to suffer under Hell's threat until finally, only one lone sanctuary remained. Remembering the tales of the man that had come at a call to the gods, those Shawmen that remained turn to their one hope, the Celestial mercenary that had done his best once before...

The shawmen continued to prey for the great savoir. They could hear the sheiks of the demons out side of the sanctuary tryed to get in, knowing thats where their feast was kept. The sheild was weakening, and the shawmen knew that, if they ever needed a savior it would be now, the preyed silenly to the shrine.

A small light orb shone between them all, and nearly exploded into a mass of light, contained only by the figure of Arannis, his skin tone having come over a much more sheer gold than the last time he had come. The memory of his former time there swept back to him, and brought tears to his eyes, but these he forced away, and only nodded.
"I know what I must do... Remain safe, as best you can."
He held his arms out to either side, and a golden glow wrapped around him, making his appearance even more light than before. He went out to the surroundings, wondering who would be his first adversary to remember this time. His voice echoed on the winds.
"I care nothing for who you all are. You die now, in repayment for the deeds that yours have forced upon me prior to this."

The people in the temple began to cry as his figure apeared, the could not speak and only nodded at his words.
The demons surounding the temple hissed at him then continued slamming them selves against the sheild, they obviuosly were not the brains of this take over. The rest of the world seemed silent, the wind blew through the abondoned buildings creating a subtle whisper in the air. Dust skimmed the baron ground and dark swirling clouds covered the skys above. A few demons could be seen here or there, hiding in the ruins of ld bulings or slinking around like dark serpents.

Arannis looked around at the demons scattered about, then turned his eyes to the sky. A ray of light shot down from it, piercing through one demon, before moving across, blasting through all the opposition nearest the sanctuary. Arannis looked out to the scattered masses.
"Face me, vile fiends of Hell! I will not relent, and I care nothing for your damnable tact!"

A few demons shreiked as he blasted some of them and fled, but kept their eyes on the temple. Others just stared at him. Sole sat quietly and watched the man that killed her sisters, fly through the dark sky, she glared at him, filled with hatred.

Arannis' eyes flickered a dark purple for a moment, and he looked up to the sky, scowling. He crouched down, laying his hand to the ground, as around him a golden circle formed, releasing four massive beams of light to the skies above and around, circling around him.
"Not so much different from them, I see... How I could have missed one, let alone Sinnara missing you, I will never know."

Sole glided down slowly from her rock pedestal just a few yards from Arannis, still glaring at him." I was still in my home world when you and you friend murdered my sisters." she said with little emotion in her voice, " why have you come back, this world belongs to us." she stated taking a few steps closer.

Arannis cut off the blast circle beneath him, throwing his arm out to the side, anger very clear on his face.
"The mortal realms belong to no one. It was you and your kind that have intruded here, not I. I have answered only a call to aid, and so it will be that you, too, are thrown down in defeat. Begone, or suffer, there will be no second warning."

Sole walked around him in a circle, then stoped her tail waved back andforth behind her," you have your veiws, I have mine." her tail stoped then slashed a rock behind her in half. Then she quickly apeared behind Arannis, her hands on his shoulders" I will leave," she whispered into his ear." but this will not be the last you see of me," And with that she vanished.

Arannis' eyes narrowed to slits.
"I have heard those words before, and I know the truth in them... I will not stand for your tricks this time. You cannot hope to win."
He wove a matrix of defensive magic around himself, making himself virtually impervious to any darkness.

Demons emerged from the surounding area and began to encircle Arannis, they hissed and quickly grew in numbers.
A dark shadow formed a circle around the demons, filled with swirling black mist.

"I don't have time for this..."
Arannis threw his hand at the ground, as a ray of light flew out blindingly quickly to each of the demons around him.
"Show yourself! I will have none of your games!"

A laugh, laced with slight madness ran through the baron wastland." But I enjoy games, they make my time on this world so much more entertaining." Sole's voice echoed in the air around him.

Arannis gritted his teeth, but did not let down his guard in the least.
"I have had enough with them. Luna and Sangue were games enough, and now I come back only to have to deal with another. I have no patience for this."
