Nope, not for my avi, but for ME (in real life).

I've wanted to get a haircut for the last few weeks but haven't cause I don't know how I should get it cut. So I'm gonna take suggestions here.

I'm looking for something stylish (not plain) but not TOO crazy where it would take 1 hour+ every morning to fix. And I'm looking for something medium-length. You can check the 'Pictures' thread to see how much hair I have to work with.

O_O Wow, that's some long hair!

Just got back from my haircut and, I gotta say, I'm really dissappointed. The salon I was going to go to wouldn't return my calls so booking an appointment was impossible. I ended up going to a place across town that my friend reccommended. But when I got in there, the average customer was like... 60 years old. Long story short, the haircut turned out awful which kinda ruined my day. It looks nothing like what I described (I even brought along a reference picture).

So yeah, that's kinda ruined my day. =/

Well, was it a "This may be a better cut for you" or a "I just can't do the cut" sort of situation?

I'd ask around and see if someone can fix it or recommend something to you
I don't think she could have done it right even if she wanted to. And she was very condescending. I came into the store with straightened hair and after she washed my hair and saw how it became curly again said "Now, you know you'll have to straighten your hair for this hairstyle, right?" Duh. She later asked me if I even owned a straightener. I came in with straight hair! Grr.
Like I said, all the customers at that place were old ladies. I doubt that hairdresser has ANY kind of experience with modern hairstyles.
