Background: Mitsuho grew up in Rukongai with his family. He played with his older brother and his younger sister. They pretended to be shinigami and fought “hollow” (usually his older brother). His father was a blacksmith and his mother was a restaurant cook. They made enough money to live comfortably. One day while his mom, dad, and sister were out on vacation his brother told him of his about an important characteristic, honor. He told him that if there family is not anything they are a family that upholds its honor. He told Mitsuho that there may come a day soon that he will have to take his brothers place to continue the family name. Mitsuho asked “Why when we are not rich, not famous, not even well known in our own area, would I have to carry on our name”. His brother replied “Because we may not have a name yet, but if we uphold our honor, we will make a name for ourselves. It is not important what we look like to everyone else, but what we do because of who we are.” The next day his brother silently walked to the usual place they played. Mitsuho followed silently and watched as his brother’s eyes quickly lost color, and he attacked Mitsuho. He then blacked out and when he awoke, he was holding a blade and felt jolted alive. He looked at his brother who with a rasp in his voice said “Thank you brother, now go out, become a real shinigami and make a name for us”. Now every year he visits his brothers grave to tell him of the name he’s made for their family and for him.

Zanpakutou name: Gouzen Ryuujin Raiden (Roaring dragon god of thunder)

Sealed appearance: In its sealed form Gouzen takes the form of a usual katana with a yellow hilt
and a hilt guard that has a lightning bolt pattern around it.
Shikai release phrase: Bring the storm in your wing beat

Shikai appearance: In his Shikai Gouzen grows longer than a traditional katana. The hilt guard pattern crawls up the blade and begins to shine yellow. The lightning bolt extends to the tip of the blade and crackles with energy. Small jolts of electricity spark from the blade. When the blade cuts anything in sends jolts through whatever it was. If it is a flesh then it sends the electricity to the nerves and kills them. It is both a favor and a curse, as once the nerves are dead and the initial pain passes no more pain can be felt in that part of the body however it shuts down the nervous system in that part and makes the body unusable before the nerves heal which can take up to 3 months depending on the body stamina and where the cut is made.

Shikai ability:
Ikazuchi taihou (Thunder Cannon) Mitsuho stabs his sword deep into the ground and places his palm onto the hilt and channels his spiritual energy into the blade. After his has gathered enough spiritual pressure he pulls it out of the ground and thrusts it forward and releases the backed up pressure in either one full wave or in separate waves that thrust his enemies back.
Raikou shikon (Lightning Fang) Mitsuho raises his Zanpakutou towards the sky and draws the power of his Zanpakutou into a lightning strike and brings it back down and three lightning bolts to strike down and hit three enemies and spread through the ground for 3 meters and shock anyone in that range.
Sutoraiki arashi (Storm Strike) Mitsuho brings his blade up in a diagonal cut with a yellow spiritual energy trail that solidifies and crackles with electric energy. He then puts his palm forward and sends a large shockwave that pushes the electric power wave quickly forward that cuts through anything in its way before it reaches his destination, when it does it explodes and sends 10 lightning balls that seek other targets.
Bankai release phrase: Shatter the sky with your roar

Bankai appearance: In its final release form Gouzen Ryuujin Raiden shrouds the sky in nearly abysmal black clouds that spread for nearly 20 kilometers and thunder storms start across the entire area of the shrouded sky. The thunder and lightning strikes Mitsuho and spreads over his body. It crackles and summons armor that is similar to dragon skin. The chest piece grows wings from the back that are a green with yellow spines. Small boots with talons appear on his feet and his eyes transform and turn yellow as the pupils slim up to match a lizard’s eyes. His zanpakutou turns completely yellow and shines bright. It still retains its Shikai ability but adds two abilities. First when it cuts through flesh it not only burns now but it also sends the current through-out the entire body of the victim to stun all the nerves however it still only kills the nerves that it cut. Second it can shoot out a bolt of electricity from the tip of the blade similar a cero in shape and power. If it hits its target it only retains the Shikai ability to kill the nerves of the affected area, however if it hits the chest it sends volts to the heart and shuts it down, killing its opponent.

Bankai ability:
Houkou hekirek amatsu (Roar of Heavenly Thunder) this is just a burst of spiritual pressure that creates a deafening boom that can be heard for about 2 kilometers, however it is safe to use around his comrades because he can control where the sound wave goes up to 1 kilometer after which it becomes harmless noise. The main effect is that it causes temporary shock and deafness to all that hear it. The other effect is that anyone within a meter distance after the shockwave is released the initial force kills them.
Dendou tougoku (Electric Prison) Mitsuho summons lightning bolts into his hands which he shapes into metal rods which he sticks into the ground similar to a hexagon. He then summons another one which he throws towards his opponent. It does not turn into a metal pole until he performs the hand sign which completes the transformation. It impales his opponent without actually hurting the victim. It sticks inside his opponent and cannot be removed. Mitsuho then calls down lightning from the sky to hit each of the poles stuck into the ground, where it is amplified and then channeled to the center rod (which is in his opponent) continuously until Mitsuho loses his bankai. This is mainly a sealing technique however if his opponent tries to move after the lightning connects to the center it does kill the nerves of the limb that tried to move. The opponent is able to breath, however it is very uncomfortable and slightly painful to the lungs.
Nami hekirek (Thunder Wave) it’s kind of like Ikazuchi taihou but instead of shooting the wave through the blade, it is left in the ground and the initial charge of spirit pressure destroys the surrounding earth and then sends the remaining shock wave continuing from the brim of destruction out for about 20 meters, pushing people back and shocking their feet, making it difficult to walk for a while.
Nibai raikou keta (Double Lightning Beam) this ability is a continuation of bankai ability that fires an electric blast. Instead of a singular blast it fires the first one faster than originally and then a second one almost directly after it slightly slower but more powerful. The first one if it hits is mainly to stun, the second is to burn and much more powerful.
