Background: He belonged to small family but it had many connections. The family had a tradition that the father and the firstborn son would continue the family business while the other children went to school. Then as the other children came home they would teach the older brother what they learned so he could have a fulfilling knowledgeable life. The family business that he had taken part in was assassination. His father was a member of a unit that answer to the Soul King alone and they took out strong hollow. Then he dropped to taking orders from the head captain when Shinsui was born for fear of the danger. As Shinsui came into contact with the Gotei 13 he decided to join the academy and he soared through the ranks with his talent for sword fighting and his ability to assassinate without being harmed.

Sealed appearance: A small black hilt-ed blade that has a small design on the blade guard. The design is that of a star around the blade.
Shikai release phrase: Shroud Kagemusha
Shikai appearance: It actually makes no visible appearance changes. However there is a small third eye that hovers above his head that generates a picture in his head of whatever it focuses on. Generally the image that is directly behind him. And This eye is not visible to anyone else unless they are about to die.
Shikai ability: Any enemy that attacks him will receive the damage that the strike dealt Shinsui to the attacker instead. However if they try to harm themselves it does not transfer. But If Shinsui attacks them he receives damage but they do as well. Included is that he receives slightly less damage. Example if he cut someones arm deep it would probably be a flesh wound or maybe half as deep.
Bankai release phrase: Cover in darkness Oni Kagemusha
Bankai appearance: The blade turns a deep black with purple shine to it. This one actually makes 3 eyes. Each with a different ability that hover and once again can not be seen unless the person is about to die. The middle eye has the ability of the one from the shikai.
Bankai ability: His shikai ability but in this state his healing is supremely accelerated to the point with which he seemingly takes no damage. However he can not recover from a strike to the brain or heart. But if he was to get his throat cut because of the boosted healing rate he would survive it but he would left woozy. And he also has the power to transfer his own damage to enemies and can take on the damage of his allies. However he can not transfer allies damage that he takes to an enemy, and he can not send any death dealing damage to an enemy unless it is multiple strikes. (If he sent a deep cut to the shoulder then a series of small cuts that will make his opponent die from blood loss)
Left Eye: Has the ability to freeze someone in time so long as the eye focuses on their body.
Right Eye:This eye can actually send a mental alert of someone about to attack. It does not generate an image in Shinsui's head but it does constantly focus on different attacks and when it reaches a certain distance away it will alert Shinsui so he can block it
(Any of the eyes can replace his curtain eyes)
Normal left eye: can sense the electric sparks that are shot from nerves that tell muscles how to act.
Normal Right eye: Once per hour he can detect an attack ahead of time.
