This was an old RPG idea I had in another guild. Sadly it never came to be...

Story: The Aura Region was a place of peace and shelter to many pokemon far and wide. The land blossomed with vegetation and life; it was a great paradise. This Pokemon Utopia would not last, however, as the region would soon be invaded by humans. Five years have passed, and now the homes of many pokemon have been destroyed and polluted. As a result, many pokemon have attacked new settlements made by humans to try and drive them out of their home-land. Eventually, a war between trainers and wild pokemon broke out.

Five years ago, in another region, an Elite Pokemon trainer group had seized control over the land. They had managed to crush their enemies by stealing and brainwashing their pokemon. With no other option, many trainers and refugees escaped on a ship to leave their homes and find a new home where they could capture new pokemon and start over. Eventually, they planned to return and take back their region from the evil organization that drove them away.


This RPG focuses on the Aura region and the war between trainers and wild pokemon. You may be a wild pokemon, a trainer, or a trained pokemon (you control your trainer unless you want to team up with someone. You cannot read your trainer's mind unless you are a psychic pokemon.). You may fight for either side as any of those three options. (For example, a trainer who wants to win back homes of the pokemon of the Aura region, or a wild pokemon who wants to co-exist with humans and is against the war.). Pretty much anything goes with this RPG.

Rules:
1] Follow the Common Sense Rules
2] Don't start off with being a super-powerful pokemon or a trainer with level 50s or higher. I wouldn't mind 40s so long as you guys don't over-do it.
3] Shiny Pokemon: I will allow a total of 2 wild pokemon RPers to be shiny, and I will allow 2 trained pokemon RPers/Trainer RPer's pokemon to be shiny (Only one shiny pokemon per team for the Trainer RPers). First come first serve. My pokemon will not be shiny because it would be unfair if I took a slot.

(XD, a shiny pokemon is a pokemon that is oddly colored. If you go here then you'll notice there are two pictures of Bulbasaur along with all other pokemon. The left is normal and the right is shiny (oddly colored) You can also look at the other pokemon if you get lost. (first 150 pokemon are in the drop-down tag in the upper left. It says "Kanto: 001-151"))

Backstory:
Starting out as a Sneasel, he had many friends in his pack of Weavile and Sneasels. When hunting with his friends, he always waited in the shadows (usually hides in trees with little to no other pokemon living in them) if another pokemon showed up and started a fight. If that ever happened, Shadow would jump out and attack it from behind, while his friends distracted it from the front. His friends soon began to call him Shadow, since he was always hiding just out of sight.

One night, when shadow and his friends were out hunting, an Umbreon was out, searching for berries. Naturally, Shadow and his friends went to their positions, in case it attacked. It did, and Shadow's friends seemed to have no trouble defeating it. Cautiously, one of his friends approached the 'fainted' Umbreon. Shadow, who was still hiding in a tree, noticed a very slight twitch in Umbreon. Immediately realizing it was a Faint Attack, Shadow jumped down out of the tree and knocked his friend out of the way before Umbreon attacked. The pokemon's attack hit Shadow across his left eyes and left a permenent mark there before the Umbreon ran off.

All of the fun Shadow had with his friends soon came to an end, however. Not long after his evolution, the group of elite trainers found them and captured everyone, except for him. Shadow barely manage to escape the group's clutches, and fled to a refugee ship. Anger fills his eyes as he now seeks vengence for the pokemon they group captured (which was everyone, except him).

Character's traits: Shadow has a large scratch across his left eye, due to all the battles he has been through. He hasn't been very social, ever since his home was raided by the elite group.

Backstory: When Xeon was still a poochyena his father who he was traveling with was trapped by a few humans and was force to battle with his life. He fought bravely but was beaten to submission and caught. Since he did not listen or eat his father died soon after. Since then Xeon has trained to seek revenge on the human who did this to his dad and the other pokemon he could not save that day.
Character's traits: calm, vengeful but not hot headed, protects weaker pokemon, and never backs down.

Backstory: He was a vulpix in a pack of ninetales and vulpix, it was a loving home with his parents the alpha male and female. The pack was attacked by poachers and most of the pokemon were killed, not Shiento. He was captured and trained to sniff out pokemon and kill them., but after seeing this was wrong, Shiento ran from his masters but it was difficult to go against his instincts to hunt pokemon. He was left with a strange mark over his left eye, and his eye color (which is usually red) would change with his mood.
Character's traits: He is a little harsh, and sarcastic, but can be caring when it means something to him.

Backstory: Sora's egg came from a far away region. It ended up on the ship the humans came to the Aura region on. The egg was found by a wild meowth who stole the egg for its dinner and ran into the forest. Meowth was caught, however, by an Altaria who took Sora's egg and eventually hatched it. Altaria warmed up to Sora and started raising him. One day, Altaria's nest was destroyed, and so Altaria (Male) and Sora were forced to move to another area filled with pokemon whose homes were taken. Sora feels it is unfair for these pokemon to be forced out of their homes and wishes to reclaim land to create shelter for pokemon.
Character's traits: Sora is of a jolly nature. He loves to play and laugh and just be happy. It kills him to see others sad, and always tries to lift their spirits. Sora only battles when it's fun for both sides, and when there is no other option.

Sora woke in a happy mood. "Good morning Al!" Sora smiled at Altaria, still asleep.
"Sora, go back to sleep. The sun isn't even up yet!"
"I'm sorry, but I'm just so excited for today! It's the day I get to go off on my own to explore the region! I'm gonna make new friends, have lots of battles with them, and win back homes for all of these pokemon!"
"You're ambitious, kid, I'll give you that." Altaria sighed from fatigue. "Just try to keep it down until the sun comes up, ok? The other pokemon won't appreciate a lot of noise this early; especially the grass pokemon. You know how they get-"
"I know, I'll try! I'll just collect some berries to pass the time."
"Alright, just be safe. If you run into a fight remember everything I've taught you."
"Yeah, yeah, Al. I know; don't waste all of your energy in one strike, making them nervous with my leer will come in handy."
"Good, good. Now run along before you wake everyone up." Altaria gestured toward the surrounding pokemon in the cave.
With that, Sora left towards the berry trees in the forest.

Damn this forest! Why couldn't get out, looking around he sniffed around, his ninetales flicking. It's been months since he escaped those group of poachers that took him from his pack. Each and every day it was getting more difficult to hunt for pokemon. He sat down and pushed his nose with his paw, glancing around. Where to go, it was impossible to tell. He blinked when he heard movement, almost instinctively sniffing the ground. No, Shiento, you don't hunt pokemon anymore... stop it with that... he thought, but this didn't stop the ninetales from going to go check out what was making the noise, he heard voices and saw a Vaporeon watching a Datrini. Hm, it's rare to see a Vaporeon without a master... he thought, looking at her, but quickly looked away.

Shiento spat at the ground at her. "Kind of rare to see your kind around here. Let me guess, your master who evolved you abandoned you..." He growled, baring his fangs and his tails flicked in front of him. Legend said, that if one touched even one of the tails of a Ninetales, that they would be cursed for 1000 years.

((Just in case you don't know, Lucarios can understand human speech as well as speak the human language with telepathy even though they aren't a psychic type.))

Backstory: Kioshi was caught by a member of the elite pokemon group that took over, when he was a Riolu, being trained up by one of the better members that was against taking over the peacefull land his trainer was banned from the group and his pokemon were taken. Before they could brainwash him, Kioshi, was able to escape and hid on one of the ships that were going to a new place. Arriving at that place he decided to explore to try to find his trainer.
Character's traits: Kioshi doesn't like fighting for real but will do it for fun as long as no one will really be hurt but will fight to protect people if he has to. He likes to meet and travel with other pokemon if he has the opportunity. Kioshi is very loyal and would never betray a friend. He is also sharing that trust with his friends.

Kioshi woke up because he sensed movement of a moderate amount of pokemon. Getting up to check it out a seed, barely dodging it, almost hit him in the back of the head. Walking in the direction of where it came from, he saw a Dratini and a couple other pokemon along with some grass pokemon. Walking over to the Dratini, he inquired of him, "What's going on here?"

Crystaline turned her tail to the fire pokemon and padded over to the Dragon type pokemon. She was fond of them because her old master had her train with them. However, she stopped seeing a pokemon she had never seen before. It looked like a dog... sort of. Her blue eyes scruntinized the being, trying to decide if he was dangerous or not.
