The Lagging has considerably increased
This is just to let you know how to get gold without becoming a victim of heavy lag
1. The Moment you start zOMG go to every world before starting to kill
Why?
Check out the forums. You'll see tons of people who will say they couldn't load the region
If you've already gone to that region, some part of it will be saved in your pc as cache, means faster loading
2. Stop the game music
Many people listen to the in game music while playing :/
Well you're streaming music from the server
As Jack has arrived, tons of users which never played zOMG have started playing
Both the server and you can be helped if everyone turned off the music
3. Low Resolution and only self ring animation, Shadow
Go to Menu--& Options--& Graphic options
Change resolution to low
Use only self ring animation and unselect shadows
4. Flash Settings
Right click the screen
Select Settings
An adobe pop up will come
Select the center box
It'll be by the name Local Storage
Select the maximum value
This way you'll load faster if you get disconnected
5. Youtube/ other sites
Since morning I've seen at least seen 3 people surfing on net while 'killing' jack
Well why won't your net lag in such a case
And your lag affects other people by lagging them
6. Pre Render Monsters
This option takes longer load time the first time
But it avoids lag
7. Don't shout and don't listen to them either during fights
When Jack is around and you're shouting... "Omg I'm stuck"... It just increases the lag factor
Saying Lag Sucks will increase it... Not decrease it
When jack is near click the 'view' button on the chat pane
un-check shouts and even talk and even clans
Let only crew and whisper remain
8. Browser
Firefox is good only for forums
Use Opera or Chrome
They're way faster
Also update it time to time
Thats all Io can think of right now

The lagging has prevented so many users from making gold on the event. I had to close out of more than one game of zOMG! due to lag. >.>

I would also like to add that I used this guide to kill the Otami Jack and I ended up getting the badge and 52k because there was minimal lag. wink

I've also noticed if the little red dot comes up, they will give you some advice as well. Sadly I can't remember it. sweatdrop

Try not to use Fire Rain all the time...

In my opinion, Opera is very slow in loading zomg so I only prefer google chrome.
