Personality type: In his normal state Verde is a sadistic, sarcastic, sensational freak. He almost always has that creepy smile on his face that everyone grows to love or hate. He loves to play with cards and in battle will even have the one he fights pick a card and then decide what to do based on what card is picked. However once he goes into his Resurrection his personality changes into that of someone who is serious and doesn't play games.

Background: When he was alive Verde's name was something different, that he still can't remember nor does he care to. What he does remember is his older brother taking care of him and both of them working hard to survive every day. One day Verde decided that he had enough of working, thinking that if he died all he would ever have to do is sleep in a grave six feet under he killed himself. However His hopes of sleeping were shot down when he almost instantly became a hollow. At first he was confused, in pain, and angry. After killing and eating the strongest things he could find for a few days he started to get the ability to think again. He figured if he couldn't just sleep in peace he would become strong enough so that no one would mess with him and he could be lazy if he wanted to, so he continued the path of become stronger and stronger until finally he made it becoming an Arrancar. Once he was an Arrancar he started to grow more and more crazy, as well as more and more stronger until he became known as the 2nd espada.
