I loved Paranormal Activity, and can't wait to see the second one, but that one is a love/hate movie. It depends on what kind of movies you're into. Right now I'm watching from Dust till Dawn. Not sure if I would consider it a scary movie... but its pretty awesome and it definitely falls under monster mash material
The Myst is another one, it was based off a Steven King novel. Now most of his books are just awful when they become movies. But I think that one was just fantastic. The monsters weren't so much scary. But watching what happens to humanity, and how perfectly captured the mob effect was... oh i loved it...

it's hard to find good ones now, all of them have too much blood and a lot less horror
a good one that I saw was 'one missed call' (but the japanese version). Although nothing will surpass nightmare on elm street

Hmmmm..... Scary movies don't excist any more, none of them are really scary so I'm sorry I have no recomendations sweatdrop

Orphan was really good. I was scared of Russian girls for daaaaays. D:
I'm also a huge horror movie buff... But I also love to watch the terrible ones. Like Zombie Strippers, which doesn't really count as a horror film. It was actually just gross. I watched it with a friend and she and I were basically vomiting the whole time. Between the bewbs and the blood, it was just a mess.
A good one that I watched recently, though, was the Crazies. I definitely recommend that one. Good stuff.
I really love supernatural thrillers... A Haunting in Connecticut was fun. Stuff like that. :3

..Rent the movie teeth if you wanna see something seriously scary.... I recommend it for guys mostly, you wont sleep for days...

BAD NO NOT A GOOD MOVIE LOL GOD I SAW THAT MOVIE AND I LAUGHED AND CRINGED AND YEAH IT WAS GO BUT STILL NO BAD i recommend audition, very freaky. one of the best i have seen since the first Friday the thirteenth movie.
