In this universe life is different, instead of cars we have horses and chariots, instead of cities we have kingdoms and villages, instead of science we have magic and alchemy. Of course in the Tangent kingdom many strange things do happen such as attacking, dragons, trolls and goblins. Whether you're a knight, thief, dragon or wizard in Epic Fantasy you better be ready for an adventure.
Rules:
Your character can be any type of mystical creature or class
Characters may also use magic and or magical items

Rose lurked in the shadows, where she can easily hide. The sun was just about to set giving the clouds a certain golden look, but even rose knew there was something special about them today.
She watched as families scurried back home, not wanting to be out at night. She didnt blame them, with all the legends and myths about monsters, what no one knew is that she was one of them. Obviously she was not a myth, but in reality she killed travelers on there way to this small village.

David walked through the streets carrying his cane. He was one of the youngest wizards in the land, 14 years. He sat on a bench in front of a fountain. The candles were not lit, no one was around. He found it sort of gloomy, so he raised his staff muttered and incantation, and the torches lit around the fountain, illuminating the area around it, giving it a magical feeling, he smiled.

Darkness just set in the town and nestled in every corner, she breathed in the first smell of the cold night air and smiled.(she looks like how she does in my sig but ya know not so modern) She looked to the moon which was bright today, "lets go" she said still in her shadow form looking for anyone when she came across the fountain, it was lit with torches. She immediatly morphed back to her flesh form and stared with her mouth slightly agape. "its been a while since i've seen you lit..townspeople seemed to forget about this .." she muttered outloud crossing her arms

David turned to her "Well I hope you like it, its the best place to think." he flipped a gold piece into the fountain "May luck be bestowed on my guest" he crossed his legs and looked up at the stars "They look so pretty tonight"

She jumped back a bit, she didnt take into notice the man there before. 'he seems interesting' sally said(the voice in her) she nodded and sat on the floor looking up, "so you feel it too..something about today..she muttered looking up at the stars twinkiling back at them, they always made her smile.

"Its a pitty actually " he started "That people cant enjoy this very often, they are to busy enveloped in their fears and hide, unable to admire the beauty of everyday life." he frowned "Its like monsters who are to absorbed in blood lust to pay attention to it. Though some actually notice what goes on."

Her eyes grew wide for a second, but she knew it was true, those consumed in blood lust rarely took the time to notice anything but their lust really. But Rose had an appreciation for life, she died once and knows how it is to lose everything. She didnt say anything and hoped her silence wasn't giving her away.
She laid down upon the floor, the coldness sinking in her and causing goosebumps to prickle all over her. "But what I love most of all here is the moon.." she breathed out.

The wind was sweeping through his messy brown hair. Wilder smiles as he sees the sun setting in the horizon. These and many more were just one of the perks of being an airship captain. Wilder glides his ship 'The Wild Night' nearby a small village. He needed supplies before he heading out on his adventure.

She breathed in and flung herself up "well if you need me send a raven..they always find me.." she said walking away into the now darkened town. It was time to have some fun, she smirked as she walked but it quickly faded as she noticed no one was out.

No one was out? Wilder was confused usually people would still be out around this time but all the stores were closed down. Wilder frowns something was wrong, the area was darker than it should be and the towns people were missing. Something was going on and Wilder couldn't help wondering what it was.

My long ears tingled with magic. I was near a magical place To regain my power, I placed some steel on the ground. My power went up to full strength again. I ran off at lightning speed.

"what on earth is going on.." she said walking straight through the middle of the path in the middle of the town. She stepped gingerly on the ground so no one would hear her steps, just in case there was something going on.

Wilder heard someone, they were perhaps about 30 meters away. From the sound of the footsteps Wilder could tell that this person was slim and that they were trying to conceal themselves. Wilder stealthily climbed on a wall and watched the person from a distance. Who ever it was it was clearly obvious that she was responsible for the darkness. Wilder could tell by how the darkness was distorted around her creating some sort of dark aura.

Running off to town for more steel, I past a couple people, strangely unfamilar. On a wall, there was a person looking at the other person. "Hey! What are you doing so far from town? No matter. Do you have any steel on you? We elves tend to use it a lot. I could repay you."
