Alright everyone should know by now, perfect world international is definatly good as dead, once you hit level 90 and go past there it gets boring, so you make another character and it gets boring. the quest line is boring. ONTOP OF THAT; gold prices have inflated cauzing PWI to loose a lot of Cash Shoppers, the only reason some people may sign on to perfect world is to talk with there friends, the game is good as dead, and if anyone finds this offensive..then you are sadly mistaken because I am not trying to be offensive, PWI sees that they are dead, and everyone else sees it.
The last resort- everyone knows the tideborn was not a normal release class, sense if I remember correctly PW-MY has not released anything of the swort, so PWI as a last resort to try to boost buisness, they decided to release the tideborn, with great sucess the tideborn crashed in with a bang and gold prices inflated and the cash shopping came back..but not for long, after people started hitting level cap on the tideborn, they stopped caring about the cash shop; so as a last resort they started putting gold prices down for mounts and adding new mounts, and new fash to try to get buisness back, it worked then it failed.
The rebirth- Now everyone should see; they are trying to put out yet another new class to attract people and get them to spend there money, a lot of people are more wise about it, so the plan has a 50/50 shot to either nose dive or to take off, the chances are that it will nose dive is greatly, unless PWI makes this class look as bad a** as possible HOWEVER; PWI has messed up the perfect world story line we've all known and loved; the one about pangu and the classes being the last resort to save the world from distruction from the wraiths, the one he created..BIG mistake PWI because about 20% of the population was attracted to this story line, now it serves no purpose and theres no way to bring sense back to the story line.
Sorry I just had to rant about the massive troll about PWI making the new classes, older members like me, playing sense beta, wish PWI would go back to normal, the old PWI was more fun and better, before it was cash shop based, its not worth it now really, if you've played as long as I have, its devistating to watch PWI fall as bad as it did.
Ways PWI can save its self:
- New quests and quest lines (including 20-90) that have nothing to do with the old ones.
- Take down gold prices a lot.
- Add new mounts.
- Add new fash.
- Add new ways of getting gold.
- Increase the over all EXP you get from mobs.
- Marriage made free (you need to reach a certain amount of loyalty/love for the person you want to marry then you will be allowed to marry, increase the intensity of the quests, that way if you really want to be married, you will think twice).
- Add new mobs and a basic new area, modify the mobs in all areas.
- Bring back the Zen PT.
- Add new armor and take out some of the old one.
Basically, it would be total re doing PWI for it to go from struggling hell to normal again.
So concludes my rant!
