So, here's what we know so far:
DW7 set to be released in March 2011, confirmed for 25th March in Europe.
DW7 will be available on both Xbox 360 & PS3 in Europe & North America. PS3 exclusive in Japan.
DW7 will feature at least 60 playable characters, including some axed in DW6 plus some new characters that used to be non-playable.
New kingdom - 'Jin' Kingdom added in DW7.
DLC for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.
Morale bar will be removed, however will still be reflected in messages between officers.
Characters may change in appearance as time proceeds, for instance Xiahou Dun with two eyes before fight with Lu Bu, and then with an eye patch after he gets shot by an arrow.
Some big battles may be split into two parts.
All characters will have two weapons, a bit like in Strikeforce.

i hope it doesnt suck as bad as dw6 empires... omg... that was a horrible game to follow orochi series

I hope they expand the roster. that was my hands down fave thing about orochi. But i went to the link with the announced characters and, as usual, i love how zhou dun looks. The new character models look pretty good according to the artwork.
Another thing i want to work well is 2nd player support. my sis dont play many games but me and her like to play the series together

1st link: ew. is that Cao Pi..?? it's blue..but his bangs fit ling tong. anywho, his hair is so cliche. blegh. Xiahou Dun eh. new cut? and is that a new guy?

2nd link: ew. they downgrade zhao yun. cliche hair..Bao San Niang O.o idk wth she is..aww. and oh. so they're the sima..is that Jin?? O.O
i like Lu Xun better in the 1st link better razz
Edit: surprised so they added the jin dynasty. and downgraded everyone's looks..? someone posted a video of DW7 opening on youtube. cruddy camera shaking but it's still there. zhao yun is the poster boy again. [i didnt even know that was zhao yun with his mouth hanging open like that] but i think there's too much aerial fighting these past games. stare

New Force, new characters,
take a look at the screenshots,
look like it has better graphics.
Da Qiao and Cai Wenji were new characters in Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce 2 along with Jiang Wei. They changed Da Qiao Weapons from two Cudgels to a Fan.
Koei is actually listening to their fans, and they're trying to do the best they can. We can't really disappoint them, can we?
