Professional Wrestling was made popular by the likes of Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin

We had television shows such as Power Rangers, Science Mystery Theater 3000, Beverly Hills 91210, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Walker Texas Ranger and Saturday Night Live totally didn't suck.

Films such as Jurassic Park, Men In Black, and Titanic hit the box office

Bands such as Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, Oasis, The Beastie Boys gave birth to the genres of grunge and alternative rock.

Gangster Rap emerged with the likes of Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Snopp Dogg, Ice-T, Ice Cube, Eminem, Dr.Dre & NWA and the founding of Def Jam Records.

It also gave birth to the perhaps annoying boy bands such as the Backstreet Boys, Nysync, and Hanson.

And people thought during this time Britney Spears wasn't a nut job. MTV actually showed music videos and the only two reality shows in existence were Road Rules and the Real World.
Amongst the sea of music artists and genres around this era, there was an infamous and controversial duo who decided...what rocked and what sucked. They were along ahead of they're time before South Park or any Adult Swim programming...and after 15 years they're coming back.....

Yes, ladies and gentlemen MTV is bringing back the icons that launched they're popularity. Beavis and Butt-head are coming back to television!
