So my friend bought this yarn, and wants me to crochet her a baby hat.

I have NO idea how to crochet with this stuff.
Any tips?

That stuff will be hard to crochet with, and harder to frog. if you still want to do it though, use a large-ish hook to make it easier. One of the good things about crocheting with that is that it's more forgiving of mistakes. Good luck.

Eeek. Yarn like that is incredibly hard to crochet with. You really can't see your stitches, and can't really see what you're doing. I've been able to knit with it, but crocheting has got me nowhere.
