In another guild I'm in, every year around the guild's anniversary, they hold a carnival/party in some remote location where all factions are invited and any violence is strictly forbidden during the event. Everyone doesn't have to go to these events but attendance is encouraged, especially since at the end of every event, the crew of the guild tends to make some new announcement for the storyline.
During the 1-2 week event, this other guild would open up a whole new subforum within the guild with a thread for the rp, and also threads for an art contest, a dueling contest, a trivia game(my favorite part), and a carnival ooc chat thread.

Hmmm, a plot idea...
Seeming as all the major players are within the RP now, the war can go underway. Me and TY already have something for a later. But for the general public...
The war obviously will come to the central lands, on the battlefield. A wide open plane, perfect for a large scale war. In one of my posts, it mentions Thomas the Black and Lianna are from a temple which holds a very powerful demon under it. Because of the nearby war, and tension of races, the demon breaks free, raging across the land. Splinter groups of each army are sent to stop it. Noteably, this sounds like a seconday objective out of a game or something, but it could easily be taken a different way. Whatever the case may be, so be it.
