Do you mind if I correct you a little? I hope you don't mind. . .
「はいがんきです c:」　―　げんき。
Ganki < Genki.

「あの.........おなまえわなんですか? C:」　―　おなまえはなんですか？
When you want to use the particle "wa" you write it with the hirigana "ha."
Also, unlike in English, Japanese has no real need for spacing.
It's actually really nice when you get used to it!! ( It isn't hard to read~ )

Hmm, I don't know. I find all-hiragana sentences can be hard to read (which is why Japanese children's books are usually all-kana with spaces), so I don't mind using spaces with beginners.

σ(^///^;') I think I meant sentences with kanji when I wrote that, but you're right about all-hiragana sentences!!!
Sorry about that!!! (>_<) I agree with you! Some of my Japanese children's books are traditional style and there is no spacing going down.
It's tremendously hard to read, so it makes people rethink the use of kanji~~ (o^-')b

*nods* I don't know why some people think Japanese would be better without kanji when it's so hard to read with only kana, but maybe that's because I'm a kanji buff. xd

HUUMF. That made me laugh. Someone needs to rethink a bit.
I don't think I ever took kanji for granted like that (yes, laugh if that's a load of BS).
I'm taking online credit courses in Japanese right now, and I think I sent the nastiest letter in my life to the coordinator for not introducing kanji until college-level continuation online-courses, and using complete romaji to teach the 4-years of Japanese to begin with. This was a letter to the person who created this question:

[Culture] How many children are in an average Japanese family?
(1.) 1
(2.) 1.25
(3.) 2.5
(4.) 3

A huge population of secret dysfunctional children maybe? ...... gonk ......LOL.
