This is a beach where not many people come, and is located on the edge of town. There are several large cliffs jutting out around the edges to form a large barrier around it. The sand is not soft and white, but coarse, and has a earthy brown color with little grains of rocks mixed in with it. The water is icy cold to the touch and has a rough current that will pull you down into it if you're not careful. Sea foam splashes out around the rocks and scatters onto the sand. The ocean water in the distance is reltively deep and has a dark blue color. The sky over this beach isn't exactly clear, but is a pale grey tone with a mass of clouds that surround it overhead. In the morning, there always seems to be fog, which makes it cloudier hard to see. If you look closely, you might even find some gaps in the cliff that are the enterences to beach caves. These caves are very dark and moist. There is pretty much no light at all in them except for where the enterence is located. These caves are very windy and have several passageways in them. It is rumored that even some people live in them, but I guess that you'll just have to find out for yourself...

Blaire sat on the uneven sand of the small beach. No one ever came here, and for that, she was thankful. It was nice to have solitude every once in a while. Her pale blonde hair was damp and had the salty scent that sand carried from when sea water had splashed onto it. Her clothes were also somewhat damp from the water. Blaire was glad that this beach was so undisireable with it's bad weather, rocky cliffs, and cold water; or else it would probably had been completely crowded like every other beach she had seen in the past. Actually, the main reason she had came here was to distract herself from her own thirst for blood that was causing her throat to burn with hunger. As a vampire, she had to drink blood in order to live, and that meant hurting people. Blaire had never really felt all that comfortable with the idea of her harming other's in order to remain strong, and so she was basically starving herself. Of course, Blaire could have always tried drinking the blood of animal's, but that probably wouldn't have helped much. Animal blood was exactly like living off of water. It would quench the thrist for about an hour or so, but had almost no nutrients in it that were needed to stay strong. Her bright red eyes that looked as if two tiny rubies were focused out toward the horizion line. It was nighttime. The moon shimmered off the fast current of the waves and cast a glare against the rocky surface of the cliffs. She closed her eyes as she felt a small drizzle of water falling from the clouds that blocked out the stars of the night sky. As if it couldn't get any colder. Now it was raining. Blaire had always been used to living in a cold enviorment, but now since it was night and already cold enough as it was, the rain was starting to get on her nerves. She let out a sigh of frustration and glanced up towards the cliffs that formed a barrier around the beach. There appeared to be small crevices in them, which resembled the enterences to caves. As thunder crackled in the distance and lighting flashed across the black sky, Blaire was beginning to make her way up to the caves. She had spent years of living on her own, without a home, and of constant travel. At least those caves would provide some sort of shelter, even if they were damp inside, and offer her some protection. The path that led up to them was steep and rocky. Anyone who was probably clumsy and unfocused probably would have tripped and fallen. But Blaire made her way up to the caves with haste and carefulness. She crawled inside the small enterence of one of the caves. Inside, it was pitch black, yet her bright red eyes easily ajusted to the darkness. Blaire curled up in a small corner, as shivers passed through her body that she couldn't control. Her damp clothing was only making it colder, but soon enough she learned to ajust to the temperature as well.
