OOC: Let's try making a house-ish area...
A haphazardly organized warehouse full of odds and ends that the rather eccentric V&F crew member Rizia Michaelis uses to make her personalized weapons and equipment. It's not always safe to approach, but she's usually willing to help fellow team mates out with mods and experiments. (There is a meaning behind those WARNING signs... that large crater behind the building used to be a small hill...)

Four words...I slowly moved among the odd....stuff that was all around me. I wanted to upgrade or whatever she called it to some of my weapons so I could kill Drudge easier, but then again this girl was supposedly part of the enemy. I heard a few people had died because they held their weapons backwards because they couldn't tell how to hold them after she was through with them.
"Hello, I'm Marc, General of the Military. I hear you are good with weapons? Can you fix up mine? That is, if I can trust you." Fire in the hole!! (normally this sort of thing wouldn't happen, but then again my character here is desperate for better weapons.)

Rizia jumps down gracefully from the top of her workbench, and moves her goggles to her forehead; she wonders waht this guy was thinking- shouting his military status in her shop- she could lose customers... She levels her shotgun at his face.
"Depends on what you mean by trust, Mr. General boy." She smiles, but doesn't lower her gun.

Four Words..." As in, can I make sure you aren't a puppet, or someone who's gonna turn my gun into a bomb instead of a firearm. I heard of a few people who can never make head nor tail of your weapons." I kept calm, having dealt with the same situation hundreds of times in my board office. Of course, things were the other way round, but at least it wasn't unfamiliar. Fire in the hole!

"Well, I guess that's decent reasoning- And I didn't make the weapons into bombs! They were merely too stupid to comprehend my genius design!!!!" Rizia looked over the man again, and held out her hand," Well I guess it can't hurt to take a look- But don't start tellling all your military friends about this place- I run a respectable business here!"

Four words...I almost laughed out loud. Maybe if she was smarter, she could make the proper way to use her weapons obvious, or at least show them?! " Respectable business, right. I think you lost most respect when those last four men died when only one used a weapon you made. Can't you at least show us how to use it?" ...fire in the hole!!!

Rizia's eye twitched as she listened to the man. The boy she'd given that weapon to had insulted her, so she'd rigged it to explode a little... She couldn't have expected that those other guys would be around him.. or that the blast would be quite that wide... She slapped on a smile and turned her gun back into his face.
"See here, the barrel clicks out of place here-" she flipped the barrel open, then closed, " and the safety is here-" she flipped a small catch at the back of the gun, "and now is when I ask if you have anymore questions."

Four words...Marc couldn't resist saying it. " Yeah, can you model my weapon so it doesn't explode? Or is that impossible?" He knew he was practically begging her to shoot him, but it was too tempting...and he wasn't that cautious. Fire in the hole!!!

Rizia had had enough. Her face gave one last twitch and she fired off a round into the wall next to his head.
"That enough proof for you, Mr. Military? or would you like to see my designs even closer up?"

Four words...I finally wiped the smirk off my face and got serious. " Alright, what can you do with this?" I held up my weapon (see Military Profiles) and offered it to her to see. " I heard you can turn a pistol into a sniper rifle with a broken dishwasher, a telescope, and a few pipes. I want to see if you can turn this thing into a handheld weapon of mass destruction with your genius. I bet you can do it in the time it takes for me to get home. But I want to see it with my own eyes. do that, and I got a few more orders for you, and not all of them are from me." ...Fire in the hole!!!

"Hmmm..."
Rizia took the gun from his hands and examined it carefully.
"A MK 48, yes? Let's see..." SHe starts digging through a pile of mismatched tech behind her, and begins pulling out random items- a small instant water filter, a laser pointer, an old broken fan, a laserpointer, and half of what seemed to at one time have been a fridge.
"Please step back behind the white line," Rizia gestured at a white line drawn on the floor as she placed her goggles over her eyes again, " Unless you want to die that is...".

Four words...I found it a tad disturbing that I needed to be a certain point away, but walked to the white line, then took two steps farther away. I tried to catch a glimpse of what she was doing to my baby, so I might figure out what the hell you are supposed to do to reload, put away, and fire it. ...Fire in the hole!

Rizia's head was immediatly submerged in a torrent of sparks. her hands were moving so fast that they seemed to be a blur, but she never dropped anything. Except.. the sparks seemed to be growing brighter- heading towards the white...
Good thing I had that military meathead step over the line... This could get really bad, very fast..
