"Are you kidding me?" A fist slammed down on the hard oak table that was positioned in the dead center of the office. Papers flew left and right, guards almost jumping out of their shoes, even a couple birds on a windowsill flapped from the loud sound. Shinji Hiramoto; 7th Hokage of Konohakagure stared down the piece of paper that he held in his grasp, "One man did all of this? What a headache." Pressing the area between his eyes with two fingers, Shinji let out a deep sigh while tossing the paper on the desk. After so many years of peace a random attack that ended in a death was the last thing they needed so close to the Chuunin Exams. Shinji took a deep breath and resumed his analysis of the situation, his calmness returning slowly until his eyes found the name of the man who had committed the crimes, "...Mikazuki? MIKAZUKI?!" A tornado force wind tore through the middle of the Hokages office in an instant, almost tearing the building in half. Clenching his fist tight the Hokage ended the uproar and stood up from his seat, grabbing his Hokage robe and hat then flickering from sight, reappearing several rooftops away.

It had been 18 years since Shinji and Mikazuki had seen each other, but that had been one of the hardest missions Shinji had to go through in his life. Konoha and Kumo had a temporary alliance at the time and all seemed well until a group of high level mercenaries decided to attack Konohakagure. Being a Jounin at the time, Shinji was first on the lines of battle with Mikazuki as the co-leader at the time. The way Mikazuki fought and killed was more fierce than any other person Shinji had seen before. Even though it was just those two fighting the large group of mercenaries, the battle ended in less than five minutes. Bodies lain skewered and disfigured from the two high level shinobi that took them on. After that day Shinji hadn't seen Mikazuki ever again, believing he had wandered off back to Kumokagure. To this day Shinji always had a feeling of respect towards the man even after all these years, but this act of treachery and destruction crossed the line and Shinji threw out all respect for the man, "I will find you Mikazuki, and you will be punished for your actions." With another body flicker, Shinji traveled across the path of destruction and towards his destination, the place of the Chuunin Exams.
