Grading
In order to be graded, you must post your fei completing the assigment given for each of the five class sessions. The more work you put into your post the better your grading will be. If you wish, you may do a joint RP with another student and post that here for credit to be given to the two of you.
Example: You and another fei go to the library and look up resource material for a assignment. You RP with that other fei looking up the books, reading the passages, writing things down, perhaps goofing off a little bit while doing so. Afterwards you type out the content of your fei's assignment to be handed in.
The more in depth and detailed your RP, or the more time you put into the RP, the better your chances of earning bonus points.
Mind you, you do not need to post any sort of RP. You can just post your fei's completed assignment in order to get credit for the assigment.

Classroom Description
Unlike most other rooms in the school, the Meditation room is quite plain. With a dull blue grey paint plasted over the windowless walls. A soft undecorated grey carpet smothers the sound of steps beneath. Small orbs of pale white light float suspended near the ceiling in a uniform setting. Set in a equally uniform matter are high backed chairs with no cushions and side tables attached.

Within Damian stands, his arms crossed behind his back as he unmovingly watched the flow of students trickle into the room. He gives no direction to the students that enter, but let's his heavy gaze fall upon each one till they find a seat and settle down silently. It is only after the bell has rung that Damian moves. Silently striding to the door, he uses a toe to lift up the kickstand stopper, and closes it with a firm 'click'. Afterwards, however, he flicks a finger over the tell tale knob of a lock, eliciting a fainter click as the bolt slides into place.
"Lesson one. Do not be late. Meditation is hard enough to focus on when you are new without a door popping open unexpectantly."
With his hands once more folding behind him, Damian turns to look over the class assembled before him.
"Lesson two. No one leaves this room until the bell rings. If you are intending to leave before the bell rings it would be best you did not show up at all."
That said he turned and walked to a chair that was in appearance the same as every other students chair in the room. Giving the sash about his wrists a light flick, he gracefully descended and took his own seat, his hands placed upon his knee's as he again raised his eyes to the classroom.
"Some of you are here, unquestioning the importance of this class. Some of you are here with no idea how it effects you. While a few of you are here with the belief that this class is a waste of your time. It is not my task to change your minds, support your beliefs, or answer your questions. If you have made up your mind already then I am not going to waste my time proving how wrong you are, if you have already accepted this class as important to you then I do not need to waste my time parroting things you already know. I also am not going to waste my time answering questions that you can learn on your own time and through your own efforts."
Gestureing slightly across the empty room Damian gave the group of students long enough to hear his words and figure out which sort applied to them before he continued.
"We have in here an hour together. If you apply yourself to the class then you will answer your own questions or succeed to the best of your abilities. Otherwise you'll probably fall half asleep, and pray you do not snore for you will not be awoken pleasently."
Nodding his head slightly, Damian reached up to tuck back a stray strand of magenta hair.
"Now then, now that the customary introduction is complete. Let us proceed with the class proper. Many of you will have noticed by now that your seats are not nearly as comfortable as other classrooms are. This is to make it more difficult for you to meditate, so that when you do practice on your own you may find it easier. Distractions and annoyances always pop up when one tries to focus inwardly, I've done my best to minimize the distractions, but some forms of annoyance are neccessary for you to learn how to ignore the things that pester you."
Gently smoothing down the reflective material of his pants over his knees, Damian paused once more.
"We shall begin the class with a series of questions. I will ask you something, and one by one I wish for you to explain to me your answer. Are we ready? Good."
He smoothly continued on without a slight pause for any true answer to be given to his question.
"Question one...What is Meditation?"

She had to be one of the first, if not the first to be in the class... she'd quietly go to her seat and then look at the teacher.... oh GODS he was CUTE! Maybe it was his hair, so like her own that made her feel an instant liking to him.... or maybe it was the fact that he was the headmaster and she felt as if she had to impress him if no one else in this school. She wanted to do well so she listened to him raptly, she knew some things about meditation... and that his first question would basically ask what it was she'd raise her hand somewhat shyly and speak in a soft voice...
"Meditation is really nothing at all, or like, a state of nothing that you put yourself into. It's supposed to help you find focus, to center yourself. It helps to calm you if you're upset and it's a lot harder to actually do it then most think it would be. It's clearing your mind of everything, so you feel as if there's no sound, no light, nothing. Like, becoming one with your mind and body. It helps you to ground yourself and focus so you're better prepared to practice your arts.... like my own, Moon Magic, I think this class will help me a lot if I can manage to get it right."

Sundance was the one of the first students to enter the class, her hair is being pulled up in twin ponytails, complimenting her slender face. She sits down on the left side of the man with a calm and serene expression on her face. She moves from indian position to lotus postion with her hands resting lightly on her knees while listening to Damian explain about the class and finally asked the question. She quietly waits until the annoying girl is done answering then she clears her throat.
"Meditation is an exercise, aiming to prevent thoughts in a natural way, by deeply relaxing the physical body and then trying to keep the mind completely "blank" with no thoughts whatsoever. This state may be maintained for a few seconds or a few hours, depending on your skill. Purity of the mind achieved during meditation is essential to gain access to Higher Self. It seems that our Higher Self does not admit any impurities."

Soliel had hoped this would be nothing more then coming in and meditating. Now however he realized that he was going to be subjected to more stupid questions in a room that felt even more like a prison then the rest of the school.
When it came to be his turn he piped up with "Meditation is the attuning of your mind, body and soul into one force."
Once he spoke he slumped his face back down onto his slender hand and watched the rest give their answers.
