History: Koharu's Parents were in the first group to come to Outcast Island. When she was very young she discovered her power to talk to animals. She lived quietly with her parents, until they died when she was thirteen years old. They had journeyed into the forest where they were killed by a bear. Koharu blames herself for not being there to reason with the bear when it happened. [In truth that is not what happened, but is what she was told. Her parents actually knew she was the animal spirits. Their enemies knew as well and that's why they created Outcast Island. You could call Koharu, princess of the outcasts. Her parents created this place so it could be as much like a community as possible. So she would not want to leave, putting herself in danger. Yet they were found out, and died killing the people who threatened Koharu's life. The mountain range that now surrounds them is not to keep unwanted visitors out, but to keep Koharu in and protected.]
Extra: When Koharu was fourteen years old she found an orphaned tiger cub in the forest. Knowing the pain to be without her parents she took him in and raised him herself, his name is Taiki. She is inseparable from him now. He is her one and only best friend, and the closest thing to family she has. Recently she has learned she is royalty of a group of people called the animal spirit masters, taiki was destined to find her and become her spirit guardian. He proof of being a master is the paw print birthmark on her right arm.
